Over Limit Rice Found In Fukushima
After early reports that rice from Fukushima was “clean” and not contaminated with radiation, officials are now finding rice over the 500 bq/kg limit.
Rice from Nihonmatsu showed over the limit, officials are considering a ban on rice from the region. Much of the rice from the region has already shipped after
passing tests, hopefully this doesn’t become another disaster like beef was earlier in the summer.
