Fukushima Residents Still Have To Pay Mortgages And Property Taxes

A little talked about issue that is truly compounding the problems of those in Fukushima, their debts are not going away in any manner, even if they can’t go home. Mortgages and property taxes are still expected to be paid. Even if they have had to evacuate and possibly lost their job due to the disasters. No effort has been made to give temporary suspension or forgiveness as people try to determine their long range plans.
