High Exposures Found In Some Evacuees
A group of 65 people were tested for radiation exposure by Hirosaki University soon after the disaster. 80% showed some level of thyroid exposure.
Of those exposed 5 people were over 50 millisieverts of equivalent dose. One person showed with 89 millisieverts and another with 77 millisieverts.
Exposures seem to be somewhat tied to where they were during the critical early days of the accident.
While the government has been proclaiming everyone safe and no potential bad health outcomes based on their questionnaire test, actual radiation tests like these are ignored
and shuffled off to no mans land.
