RT TV picked up our story about the fault line concerns at the North Anna nuclear plant. Paul Gunter from Beyond Nuclear included new information that there are also concerns about the dam stability. North Anna’s sole source of cooling water is an artificial lake held back by a nearby dam. That dam was rated a “D-” by the American Association of Civil Engineers.
Local media in Virginia also identified that since the earthquake the water level in Lake Anna dropped 22 inches (55.9cm). So far no reason has been given for the sudden water drop.
