  • @Dean, I watched this expert presentation on CNIC this morning. The man showed the pressure history measured at the reactor since the quake. It was quite clear that the reactor vessel lost pressure within hours. Does not that mean that reactors of this type ought to be shut down, at least until we find out what precisely at the vessel failed?

  • Another major shock would finish her. For good. Dr. Kaku believes were already there. (As do I). The thing I was worried about several days ago was the plant becoming so radioactive that the workers can't go near it. I'm afraid that may be happening now. Efficiency of the workers is really poor as of now. Tepco doesn't seem to be able to plan how long something will take (sometimes call v-fac time), that's why everything is always delayed. There's a limit to optimism and I think they should get real. (About a lot of things) My Opinion
