  • www.osti.gov this is a document Ralph to estimate what the BWR fuel is reading in open air.. like I said.. we operated at a much higher flux..
    by dean 5/28/2011 7:07:54 PM

  • yes at the facility I worked out I told my workers if.. for any reason a life fuel element were to come next to you in air.. you might as well hug it and not prolong the agony.. that never happened tho..
    by dean 5/28/2011 7:08:49 PM

  • My reader does not see all that document.
by Ralph Unger 5/28/2011 7:08:50 PM

  • What little I can see says that5 workers are all toast.
by Ralph Unger 5/28/2011 7:09:47 PM

  • @Dean KYAGB
by Ralph Unger 5/28/2011 7:11:40 PM

  • @Edano are you able to Mod?
    by UKVal 5/28/2011 7:28:37 PM

    by Edano 5/28/2011 7:29:34 PM

    by elainekirk 5/28/2011 7:30:25 PM

  • @Edano it's ok - it's gone. @Ralph -sorry got very confused & also thought if you gave the info here you must have done the same as me & set up an address
    by UKVal 5/28/2011 7:30:45 PM

    by Edano 5/28/2011 7:32:14 PM

  • I just finished watching a documentary about the hydrogen bomb. I was followed for several weeks because some drunk told me how to make a hydrogen bomb, he said it was de-classified and he told me how to make one. DOH, it is simple, but you need an atomic bomb to start so I think it is useless info
by Ralph Unger 5/28/2011 7:34:27 PM

  • @Ralph Unger you were followed??!!
    by UKVal 5/28/2011 7:36:03 PM

  • i wonder why all water level readings are at ~ -1800 mm. they cannot all read the same.
    by Edano 5/28/2011 7:37:16 PM

  • The dude was wrong, the FOIA did not cover nuke research.
by Ralph Unger 5/28/2011 7:37:42 PM

  • But all the things he told me are actually in the documentary I linked below. Most of it.
by Ralph Unger 5/28/2011 7:38:49 PM

  • @edano It is international 'Think Of A Number' day
    by elainekirk 5/28/2011 7:45:31 PM

  • @elainekirk : seems so. but if the data is manipulated, it is not very intelligent.
    by Edano 5/28/2011 7:48:59 PM

  • 5 megatons or 15 megatons? They had no clue because they did not understand the effects of Lithium 7 vs Lithium 6. And I do not understand the difference even today. Check the PBS post I made earlier,
by Ralph Unger 5/28/2011 7:50:30 PM

  • The same geniuses are in charge of the nuclear plants 30 miles from your home. 0% chance of contaminate failure, but all the containments failed at Fukushima. 100% failure rate might get someones attention, but not the NRC in the US.
by Ralph Unger 5/28/2011 8:08:17 PM

  • anyone else watching the cam? not much to see- but looks as if cam man is spinning the cam round or those are the fatest moving clouds I've ever seen...
    by UKVal 5/28/2011 8:10:49 PM

  • or is he rewinding the tape?
    by UKVal 5/28/2011 8:11:30 PM

  • General Electric submission to NRC to show they have the funds to meet their decommissioning obligations in the U.S. docs.google.com
    by elainekirk 5/28/2011 8:12:51 PM

  • 1 hour per for many pro nuke advocates and Arni gets 5 (lame) minutes. www.fairewinds.com
by Ralph Unger 5/28/2011 8:13:55 PM

  • @edano you still here?
    by elainekirk 5/28/2011 8:14:03 PM

  • @Ralph Unger not only that but there's a lot of noise making it difficult to hear. I wondered if this was deliberate
    by UKVal 5/28/2011 8:15:07 PM

  • @ralph at the end of the day it is merely a 'get together' with some speeches thrown in so they can use taxpayers money to fund it.
    by elainekirk 5/28/2011 8:16:09 PM

  • @UKVal Re the cam. There is a large storm heading past Japan. What is the wind speed and direction on the mountain? Though it seems too regular to be this.
    by jt 5/28/2011 8:20:25 PM

  • @elainekirk : yes, from time to time.
Is it working ok now ? have you refreshed ?
yes i can edit now. cool.
by Edano edited by Edano 5/28/2011 8:20:37 PM

  • @jt I think it's too regular & too fast
    by UKVal 5/28/2011 8:21:35 PM

  • @jt It looks pretty consistent with cloud cover. You can see variations. Once in a while it breraks enough it feels like a jet airliner window, but it looks pretty socked in today on both cams.
    by radioguy 5/28/2011 8:22:32 PM

  • I'd say it was a tape at fast forward (or back) if I couldn't hear birds occasionally
    by UKVal 5/28/2011 8:25:58 PM

  • @elainekirk : yes, now i have some permissions. ty :)
    by Edano 5/28/2011 8:26:35 PM

  • @Edano - re the water levels at -1800 my guess is that is the bottom of the scale and they can't read lower than that (as in "we're never going to have a situation where there's no water in the RPV")
