    by estacion 6/22/2011 1:28:00 AM

  • @all Don't know if this is significant but I have noticed dark grey smoke coming out of the stack by #3 all day. It's more obvious now that the sun is out...any thoughts?
    by LM 6/22/2011 1:47:01 AM

    by dean 6/22/2011 1:49:56 AM

  • Hi that looked odd couple were watching their dosimeters and last few looked worn out
    by elainekirk 6/22/2011 1:51:30 AM

  • Hi Dean! I'm pretty sure that's been there. That was really odd...I'd say at least 20 men just filed out up those stairs toward the cam in 2 directions. I've never really seen more than 4 or so at a time. Odd!
    by LM 6/22/2011 1:51:47 AM

  • were they heading for 5 & 6?
    by elainekirk 6/22/2011 1:52:03 AM

  • yes LM, some looked around or back and some pointed go there
    by dean 6/22/2011 1:52:27 AM

  • @estacion They are not transmitting in AIS, Near Fukushima only a navy boat ... marinetraffic.com
    by Majj 6/22/2011 1:53:05 AM

  • @Elaine I'm not sure of my bearings...as to where the cam is, but most of them cam toward the cam and filed past it to the right (Your right).
    by LM 6/22/2011 1:53:32 AM

  • @elaine am I seeing things or what are those white things up around 4
    by dean 6/22/2011 1:53:43 AM

  • There has been what looks like dark grey smoke coming out of the stack by 3 all day.
    by LM 6/22/2011 1:55:07 AM

  • the tbs was watching 4
but my feed has gone down anybody got the tbs feed?
    by elainekirk 6/22/2011 1:55:08 AM

  • @Elaine The TBS feed went green then black a short time ago.
    by LM 6/22/2011 1:55:51 AM

  • @Dean I think the white things around 4 are side panels..they seem to glisten more this time of day.
    by LM 6/22/2011 1:57:00 AM

  • I think they were going back to Seismic Isolated building, probably they were at crane shipment maneuver.
    by estacion 6/22/2011 1:57:46 AM

  • @Elaine You're right about the weary workers...a few stopped to catch their breath. Poor guys.
    by LM 6/22/2011 2:00:36 AM

  • none of the workers had removed any PPE.. personal protective equipment
    by dean 6/22/2011 2:01:24 AM

  • @Dean That was a good catch by the way...I originally thought the black thing by the cam was just a piece of the roof, but it does look like a hose.
    by LM 6/22/2011 2:02:02 AM

  • @Majj It was a autopropulsated barge ship type, I don't know if they carry AIS transponder.
    by estacion 6/22/2011 2:02:58 AM

  • ty LM it only became apparent to me when one worker stepped over it
    by dean 6/22/2011 2:04:02 AM

  • @estacion Any boat in Japan, far I now have to have Transponder.. Like Singapore and very sun America...
    by Majj 6/22/2011 2:04:12 AM

  • @Majj: May be they were pirates. :)
    by estacion 6/22/2011 2:09:56 AM

  • TBS cam is back.
    by LM 6/22/2011 2:14:35 AM

  • I am on TBS cam.. has there been some kind of covering put on 4?
    by dean 6/22/2011 2:17:31 AM

  • I saw it on the other cam and it kind of looked whitish looking at 4 up the walls.. maybe an illusion
    by dean 6/22/2011 2:17:56 AM

  • looks like it dean - I am going to sleep see you all in the morning :)
by Elaine Kirk 6/22/2011 2:20:13 AM

  • @dean I don't think so...but it does look like they might have tried reinforcing the open side. The light does play tricks..in the day and night!
    by LM 6/22/2011 2:20:19 AM

  • Nite Elaine!
    by LM 6/22/2011 2:20:48 AM

  • Russian atomic scientists in this FAAE report, however, say that this OPPD statement is an “outright falsehood” as all nuclear plants in the world operate under the guidelines of the International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale (INES) which clearly states the “events” occurring at the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant do, indeed, put it in the “Level 4” emergency category of an “accident with local consequences” thus making this one of the worst nuclear accidents in US history. www.huntingtonnews.net
    by Majj 6/22/2011 2:29:52 AM

  • @Majj I live in the region of that plant. It has not melted down and it not a major nuclear accident. I really wish people would please stop posting this. It simply is not true.
