- Did anyone catch Arnie Gundersen's radio interview today? One of the things he talked about was these big companies like Entergy that run nuclear power plants will do some games with corporate structure to get out of liability for a plant. IE: To run Indian Point in NY state they start an "Entergy LLC of NY" company there. They can still shuffle profits off to Entergy but if they blew up Indian Point liability stops at the assets of Entergy LLC of NY and you can't touch the rest of the company.
Since so many of these companies have incarnations of them selves all over the world they are likely doing this in other countries in some way.
