#4 sfp tepco say the pic was taken on the 29th

    by elainekirk via Tepco.co.jp 7/1/2011 8:56:58 AM

  • @elaine not sure about the Engrish, but it appears to be talking about the professional price that Koide has paid for his outspoken anti-nuclear stance. I assume that the "village" they are speaking of is the so-called nuclear village of industry and govt. people who have controlled nuke policy here for decades.
    by bo 7/1/2011 8:59:07 AM

  • @bo thankks bo well him getting a write up is something :) in Japan the 1st of July is drawing to a close yes? so the pic is nearly 72hrs ago
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 9:03:00 AM

  • @elaine, that looks like plenty of water in SFP4. Does this put Edano's concerns from yesterday to rest?
    by bojack54 7/1/2011 9:04:41 AM

  • @bo No in my book it was yesterday morning that the leak was on twitter that was the evening of the 30th in Japan time , dp ypu know if hydrazine changes the appearance of water?
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 9:07:29 AM

    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 10:04:21 AM

  • @Ian that video makes me realise what is wrong with todays photo release it is too clean no smoke except just off camera etc they must have chosen a very small corner just after te water injection on the 29th
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 10:06:10 AM

  • Heading home, back after a while. I don't think there is anyone else watching over Organize.
    by bo 7/1/2011 10:08:01 AM

  • @bo not something that would immediately affect the children's health,
gosh they make me so mad
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 10:08:20 AM

  • @bo I will keep eye on org not going out for an hr or so
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 10:08:44 AM

  • @elaine, I know, nothing to see here, move along. Pay no attention to that cesium behind your children's skin. Sigh. Thanks.
    by bo 7/1/2011 10:09:23 AM

  • @elain, yeh, must less steam in the new photo. I notice a metal stairway that ends in the new photo you posted below. And in the SPF4 video you can see a section of a similar stairway that fell into the pool www.youtube.com and both stairways are right at an edge of the pool, and so we might now be seeing two segments of the same broken-apart stairway.
    by Ian 7/1/2011 10:21:48 AM

  • @Ian we need to find this doc translate.google.com
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 10:30:16 AM

  • @Ian yeah where did the explosion come from if the ladder blows into the pool
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 10:35:34 AM

  • by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:04:57 AM

  • I was pondering this whole Fukushima issue and decided to resume videos. At a slower pace but I'm going to stay the distance.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:05:24 AM

  • @AustralianCannonball there was 137 in the childrens urine
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 11:08:48 AM

  • @elainekirk
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:11:03 AM

  • @elainekirk Yeah I just double checked that. The NHK link description states 134 so maybe a typo on their behalf. The point being the general public will understand from that video there is radiation in the urine. I can update the description under the link.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:12:55 AM

  • @elainekirk I had seen that article and I double checked it as I made the video so had to go with what was in the article. But thats why I reference cesium-137 anyway because I saw that article earlier and thats what I thought it had said.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:14:15 AM

  • @elainekirk Did you take the link down?.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:15:45 AM

  • @AustralianCannonball there was 134 and 137 in the urine you need to check all reports to get a picture , the total truth may not be there to find but using multiple sources helps to build a picture
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 11:16:02 AM

  • @AustralianCannonball did I take which link down?
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 11:16:32 AM

  • @elainekirk The video has gone on my end. I have refreshed.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:17:06 AM

  • @AustralianCannonball I will refresh
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 11:17:51 AM

  • Its back!. This forum does weird things sometimes or its PEBCAK(Problem Exists Between Chair And keyboard!) - So probably my fauly!.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:18:18 AM

  • @elainekirk Yeah I get it wrong sometimes but its a journey so I appreciate your feedback. I normally just fix networks!!!.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:20:44 AM

  • @elainekirk it is still here on mine but speaking personally it may be an idea to gather sources and make a new one the information is incorrect and it may not help the parents case if there is confusion , another point is that only those isotopes were tested for other radioactive elements may and probably were present but we don't know
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 11:21:34 AM

  • @elainekirk I have a 2 year old and a 10 month old and work 12 hour days. In all fairness and with all due respect I forgot to say cesium-137 but I still mentioned the cesium-134. It took me alot of courage to come back and make videos. I actually had my life threatened directly and not just indirectly but I will leave it there. I'm just a guy who works in IT doing my little bit as you are. I'm not claiming to be a scientist.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:25:20 AM

  • and I did mention cesium-137 in the wider context.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:26:04 AM

  • Maybe this is why the media blacks it out because the criticism from scientists. Its a catch 22.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:27:53 AM

  • @AustralianCannonball I am not criticising your enthusiasm it is to be applauded and pperhaps I am overly sensitive to the plight of families and wish their story to be widely told please don't be offended
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 11:31:30 AM

  • @elainekirk I gotta go but your right. I don't think I was totally out of context as the point was made. I will go over my videos and add corrections as words on the screen when I get time. Even when I look at earlier videos I shake my head. But maybe I'm not a nuclear scientist but I'm slowly learning. Each day I just learn more.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:34:31 AM

  • @AustralianCannonball don't we all :) life is a learning curve
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 11:35:14 AM

  • @elain, good question. And also, I suspect that metal stairway wasn't for swimmers to get into the pool, lol! Or maybe it was in the rare case that that's needed. ?? But what I'm getting at is was there additional infrastructure that the stairway led to that was blown away. ??
    by Ian 7/1/2011 11:35:57 AM

  • @elainekirk Before this disaster I knew nothing about radiation except Chernobyl was bad and I met a kid in primary school who had leukemia from it visiting my old city Melbourne.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:36:20 AM

  • @elainekirk, sorry for the overly truncated version of your name I used.
    by Ian 7/1/2011 11:37:26 AM

  • Ian you were talking about a ladder in 3's SFP?
    by lillymunster 7/1/2011 11:41:19 AM

  • @Elaine, the photo of #4 sfp, what page did you find the link for that on?
