  • @lillymunster www.tepco.co.jp and there are more pics gone up I wonder iif the mystery list of 133 from nisa is worrying them
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 11:46:48 AM

  • @Elaine - I must be blind. I see photos for the medical center, a control office, the tide protection. So I click on this July Archive and there is the SFP picture. It is like they are hiding their own info by putting it in the archive and not the current display..
    by lillymunster 7/1/2011 11:49:47 AM

  • There was a mention of TEPCO editing photos. Absolutely. I see very oddly composed images sometimes that it is clear they hacked a big section out of the image. They are editing out the things that look nasty and purposely showing things that look pristine like nothing every exploded. The more I read about TEPCO's past cover ups and falsifications the more this kind of thing is their standard procedure. They edited an inspection video to hide blatant and significant damage to an important piece of the RPV at #1. Editing photos is nothing compared to that. The only reason they were caught on that one is there was a German contractor they tried to drag into the doctored video scam and he went to METI.

    by lillymunster 7/1/2011 11:55:09 AM

  • @elainekirk I mean this in good humour before I leave. I'm probably still more accurate than TEPCO!.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:55:23 AM

  • @lillymunster I got Cain and Abel, Wireshark. All sorts of things. I dare them!.
    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:56:01 AM

    by AustralianCannonball 7/1/2011 11:58:45 AM

    by Thunder 7/1/2011 12:00:52 PM

  • @AustralianCannonball I have gotten some of the same nonsense. The internet is full of all kinds. :-)
    by lillymunster 7/1/2011 12:01:23 PM

  • @Thunder are you talking about the colored ones that show where things disbursed?
    by lillymunster 7/1/2011 12:01:53 PM

  • @AustralianCannonball sleep well see you when the sun rises

  • Conclusion: A small radiation is good for your health

There are two sides to radiation.

Small dose: Like an angel's smile (even at 50 millisieverts/year)

Large dose in short time: Like a devil's violence

From now on, the number of cancer patients in Fukushima will decrease.

Food items with a small amount of radiation will fetch "premium".

Fukushima Prefecture will be the Number One health land in Japan, and people will flock to Fukushima.

    Our future is bright.

    by Thunder 7/1/2011 12:07:07 PM

  • @Thunder do you have a link for the older ones? IIRC METI is putting them out?
    by lillymunster 7/1/2011 12:07:32 PM

  • I am posting this because something tells me it is useful but I don't know why :) reliefweb.int
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 12:17:39 PM

  • there is a asahi article on the sfp #4 pic translate.google.com
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 12:21:13 PM

  • @Lilly, no I am talking about those crappy old speedi ones, not great, just contour lines....I swear I saw an actual measured one, ie it was a really cesium spread and it looked nastily like the CH word...... I can dig you up an old speedi if you want.....trust me you don't!
    by Thunder 7/1/2011 12:24:50 PM

  • @Thunde note there is reference to the map and a link but the link appears not to work --there is the English version of the nisa regarding tepco saying opening #2 doors had no enviromental impact and there being questions raised about their figures www.nisa.meti.go.jp
    by elainekirk 7/1/2011 12:26:37 PM

  • @Thunder the ones I have seen were the color coded ones.
    by lillymunster 7/1/2011 12:26:38 PM

  • @Lilly @Elaine thanks your help! Elaine yeah there the SPEEDI's I am talking about but they are newer than what I have saved, I am talking coloured bq/m3 for cs-137, I am too tired now though, I have to give up for the night cos I can barely keep my head up! Night @All! Thanks again ladies for your help, if I find what I am looking for I will post it here. Stay well and safe!:-)
    by Thunder 7/1/2011 12:39:34 PM

  • If anyone finds the full version of this article later today can you post a link? online.wsj.com
    by lillymunster 7/1/2011 12:41:04 PM

  • @Thunder I have a good pdf link in my IE fav for a french doc (in english) with deposition maps. I can view it, but I don't know how to post a link to it. I can never post a link to a pdf unless I have a page that actually had the link. Know how?
    by RBeaner 7/1/2011 12:41:42 PM

  • @lillymunster This link says free pass to WSJ online.wsj.com
    by RBeaner 7/1/2011 12:45:03 PM

    by dean 7/1/2011 12:46:36 PM

  • @RBeaner: In IE fav look at the link, rightclick in it, choose properties, select URL address, copy and paste where you want.
    by estacion 7/1/2011 12:47:31 PM

  • @estacion That doesn't work, I can't paste it to the comment box here api.viglink.com
    by RBeaner 7/1/2011 12:49:23 PM

  • @you ahaa, I right clik, then clik properties, then cut and paste the actual url in properties, @thunder your link is api.viglink.com
    by RBeaner 7/1/2011 12:50:39 PM

  • @lillymunster OK that WSJ online worked for me, but the link doesn't work here. I went to Google, searched on Design Flaw Fueled Nuclear Disaster and the first link showed the whole article as a "free Pass".
    by RBeaner 7/1/2011 12:53:52 PM

  • @RBeaner hmm - partial article.
    by lillymunster 7/1/2011 12:53:54 PM

  • WSJ has become tight fisted about articles. Usually someone reprints it later in the day.
    by lillymunster 7/1/2011 12:54:33 PM

  • @dean morning Dean, emailing that WSJ article to you for @lillymunster
    by RBeaner 7/1/2011 12:57:55 PM

  • @RBeaner: if you cut the actual url in properties you are gonna to delete it in that field. :)
    by estacion 7/1/2011 12:58:11 PM

  • @estacion I think I copied and pasted, but it worked. This little issue has been irritating me since Mar 11 at about 4PM LOL
    by RBeaner 7/1/2011 1:01:36 PM

  • @estacion Iv'e been stuck many times hunting pages for pages that contained the actual link, cause I'm staring at a previously saved PDF, but can't send you guys a link. DOH! I'm computer stupid, I need my Tandy or Commodore 64 back.
    by RBeaner 7/1/2011 1:03:49 PM

  • @RBeaner, gm, at such moments, I feel that I am not y2k compatible. If anyone can provide the full wsj article, I'd appreciate it.
