It is just a game isn't it? Fuku is a giant playground that is usingJapanese taxpayer funding to buy all the toys that developers come up with, none of them tested in the decon field none of them trialed in the many decommissionings that have taken place globally...

by elainekirk via Popsci 8/12/2011 5:28:12 PM

  • Not sure why Assimo. What does it have that is more suited that the other bots they have used?
    by lillymunster 8/12/2011 5:29:04 PM

  • @lillymunster nothing, absolutely nothing ...like I say tepco have access to taxpayers money all thecompanies have to do is take the bosses to lunch and tell them what they are applying for funding for , tepco toddle off to goj and say xxx for this absolutely essential equipment and bingo another company lines its pocket
    by elainekirk 8/12/2011 5:33:29 PM

  • I have to wonder if TEPCO gets a kickback or something if another big companies brings in their toys to show them off.

  • Hokkaido to OK resumption of commercial operation of Tomari reactor

    SAPPORO, Aug. 12, Kyodo

Hokkaido Gov. Harumi Takahashi on Friday hinted at approving the full commercial operation of the No. 3 reactor at the Tomari nuclear power plant in Hokkaido as early as next week.

Takahashi told a news conference that the Hokkaido government will not spend more time on the question of resuming the commercial operation of the reactor in the village of Tomari in southwestern Hokkaido.

The Hokkaido government's decision has ''nothing to do with the ongoing Bon holiday season,'' she said.
