Folks, may I suggest we not ahead of ourselves by invoking a Tokyo evacuation. I believe the Govt and Tepco are not leveling with the public for obvious reasons. A believing public and assumed honesty in Japanese culture, overall all else. Plus the public will believe because they need hope. But, I still doubt any potential evacuation is even possible. To where and how?

Delay was due to testing of new data analysis chain script that will make posting results more efficient. We have observed a sharp up-tick in Cs-137 levels from around 0.2 Bg/L to 0.55 Bq/L. I-131 had a sharp rise on 3/23 of I-131 concentration from 6 Bq/L to 20 Bq/L. I-131 levels returned to 6 Bq/L on 3/24. Reasons for the I-131 spike is still unknown. Te-132 and I-132 levels remain relatively constant.
From all indications, the CV has been breached for some time. Possibly since the 11th. Even with the breached CV, it's unlikely to pose an immediate danger to Tokyo. Depending on the watershed, drinking water contamination is the most immediate danger. And there are means,albeit expensive, to remove contaminants from drinking water. In my opinion, what we are seeing here is just confirmation of what has been suspected for some time. No time to panic, time to research plan B, which I hope is already well into the planning stages.

Standard geigers measure beta and gamma. Alpha and neutron require scintillator. Some modern geigers include both.
