Ok..just heard NHK world english version for 1pm and it said TEPCO CONFIRMS breach at #2. They are now trying to find where is the breach.

@Sinthia- some say is impossible, but I feel it too when I get xray etc. It makes me feel sick. Buuut... I also have Fibromyalgia so I feel things different. (Or Im' nuts... depends on what you think about Fibro. LOL)

@JPH Eh, media is either not caring at all or they're freaking out and making everything "breaking news" and trying to sensationalize as much as possible to get the awards. If the media breaks into programming, then it's award time.

@Optim AFAIK they showed a diagram and said the leakage was probably in one of the many PIPES connecting Reactor Building and Turbine Building

@Meretisa Believe me, my common sense told me that the radiation was in no known way causing my nausea. But the nausea had no purpose, no cause whilst in the middle of focused labor. At the time I wasn't even remotely thinking or looking at anything related to Japan. Just odd. To negate the possibility of biological life (humans) having extrasensory abilities just because it sounds silly isn't very healthy. They used to burn witches for it tho so I'll consider myself lucky to be in a more advanced open-minded scientific society! :)

Bev, Read an article about the difference between Japan's voluntary evacuation advisory and the US. Bottom line difference (I didn't check for accuracy) is that if Japan goes beyond its current recommendation, Toyko become part of the area. You can figure out the rest.

at 10mil we are talking about 1000-6000Sv? this seems a little much unless we are talking about corium open to the environment.

Experts on NHK saying that fuel rods metal casing might be damaged and small radioactive particles leaking. TEPCO trying to find out how... How iwll TEPCO find out if workers cannot examine..if they dont have any power for instrumentation?

I have the same thing happen with streetlights, it is just your magnetic field being the final disruption to a failing system. A cow walking by would do the same thing.

We don't know for sure what Kyodo's news ticker abbreviation "mil." is supposed to mean. It could be a translation error, since "milli" means thousandth (1/000) when speaking of fractional units. Let's get more info. Plan for the worst but hope for the best.

Is this information honestly anything different than what we've been getting? "might" is the word in all these NHK posts...if "might" isn't there then it's an abbreviated word...if it's not an abbreviate word it's a post about the price of the yen...and then even that post has "may" or "might" in it.

To me it's disturbing, that a NEWS Org, is breaking this an NOT a governating Agency of sort.
