The job market for teaching history is very small....I'm applying to jobs in other states and basically across the whole country in order to find a teaching position somewhere. Teaching is very difficult, even for a 24 year old that is just out of school. Kids are changing both attitude-wise and value-wise far faster than I've ever experienced, even when I was in school. I would suggest widening your horizons and going for teaching because a degree in history is basically useless, and I don't mean that to be mean, it's just tough to get a job in history unless you get a Ph.D. and end up being one of hundreds of professors applying for a college position. If you're passionate about history, stick with it, but try to think of creative ways of making yourself more marketable. Teaching is tough, that's for sure, but I do love being able to tell a group of 9th graders a story about Genghis Khan that makes their jaws drop! It's a great feeling. Sorry for the long response and off topic post! Ack!

Oh, I forgot one part. Whether we want it to or not. This will be part of our history. Especially with how bad its getting. Now whether our children or grand children will ask about it has yet to be seen. But its one of the few things I can say I witnessed. (And cared about while it was going on.) I think its the history geek in me.

I wonder if the refresh can be slowed slightly. It interrupts while I'm typing a message. And I'm camping right now in the middle of the swamps, so only have edge network. Frequent refresh wreaking havoc.

The auther last name Clevenger was my professor. He retired from the industry some time ago. i was suprised to find his name on it, as most of that stuff was confidential. I will email him and ask when he wrote it.

What does it mean by water at reactor core? In turbine chamber? What that is spilled over? Anyone care to explain.. We all amateurs trying to explain.
