@marie rich They have always considered that as a possibility from the start, in fact, the first time I saw it mentioned was on a TEPCO report dating from maybe a couple of weeks back. That's what started all the speculation. But as of this moment, and regardless of all the speculation, that possibility has yet been confirmed nor denied.

@Pat Right, but it does incredible damage in that time if ingested/inhaled. The isotope is still there, we just pass it in a number of days/weeks.

@marie rich Wow, I really hope that site is not correct. They are measuring 100 cpm as .1 mR/hr. Where .1 mR = .001 mSv. So in New York they are measure .044 mSv/Hour???? That would be incredible radiation.

There are many instances where the reading were more then 10 times different. Why does everyplace with a high reading disapear form the posts?

The geiger counters on ustream are better - you can see the counts per minute, and they have unmoderated chat..... which is usually bad.

Check the records I used the lowest (as in worst wind directions to add to the numbers) to make that post. If I used regular info it would be much worse.

@Ralph Unger It's a very simple and useful method to misinform the public. Pick and choose the "best" numbers -meaning the lowest- and stop to publish the worse ones. Pronto- "the situation is dangerous but stabilized". Propaganda 101. Lying without telling falsehoods.
