- @Bev - Cl-38. Radioactive chlorine. It has a half-life in the minutes and is only created by fission. It was listed as detected in the water from the turbine room of #1. - @Hank I can't offer any clarification on the 138Cl measurement. It looks like TEPCO forgot to scrub it when they scrubbed Cs138. - @Bev - They were two different samples. No I-134 was detected in #1 but was detected in #2 (initially, then gone). No Cl-38 was detected in #2 but was detected in #1.
