- Meanwhile, Russia's state nuclear energy corporation says the Japanese rating is exaggerated.
The spokesperson for Rosatom, Sergey Novikov, told a Russian news agency that, unlike the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, no workers at the Daiichi plant have suffered serious health damage due to acute radiation syndrome.

by trh 4/13/2011 7:46:31 AM- @marie rich Don't know, but it looks like #1 is holding pressure, and gradually reducing temps (a good thing). Unit 2 / 3 seem to be the opposite: can't hold pressure/reducing pressure, and rising temps. The fact that bottom temps are higher than core temps (to me anyway) clearly show corium is at the bottom of 2 and 3 and is slowly melting through the drywell.by Jojo 4/13/2011 7:46:58 AM

- I'm going to assume they are still injecting N. On the 8th there was that big spike up to 100sv/hr. at 12;00 AM,in the drywell. But also, on the 7th there was a pretty big increase in the suppression pool, torus, at 06:00Am. Still, it's trending down, you are right.
