@dean Hmm. there was the media stunt where they took the IAEA through Daini and were purposely vague about what plant they were actually at. So someone not paying attention or not knowing likely thought they were at daiini

@lillymunster, no you can't download removed video via google cache. :( This flagging down videos of an historic event is criminal! I could understand if it was a scripted movie or art, and even then some fair use for commentary is ethical, but the event wasn't anyone's creative product, except maybe GE's. I seriously doubt the FCT suddenly felt the clips of the Unit-3 blast were (c) infringements causing them to lose revenue. They have no justification. This is as egregious an abuse of (c) as I've ever seen. Possibly FCT was leaned on to do this.

@Ian Another reminder why we all should archive anything we find of significance so copies exist in many places. You can't erase history but they are sure going to try.

@Ian The video shown on the fairewinds video's of #3 says channel 9 on it which is Australian News. Maybe they still have it on thier site?

@Angie, Fukushima Central Television is flagging the ones they believe they can get away with. This video host added an annotation (in English and Japanese) stating that the source was from the UK, suggesting that (s)he's aware that FTC is flagging : www.youtube.com

@Nancy Oh I saw your post about needing help with the news stuff.....I would love to but Uni starts back on Monday an I think I am going to have my hands very full!!! I will see how things are going with it in a few weeks if I handle everything ok I will see if you guys still need any help. I dont want to put my hand up to help and not be able to follow through.

@Edano sort of found a middle ground. Simply Info, over all group name. The Fukushima Project as a subtitle for the current website and issue. FukuLeaks for info releases, things we uncover, get a scoop on etc. Rob made a cool graphic for it (the fukuleaks thing).

@Veenie the first one showed up in the media library and let me view it. It isn't on the home page yet, I think you have to either make a post to show it in or use a videos display widget.

@NANCY think we should either use the name that won or put it up for a run off... else the principle/process involed becomes useless. just my .2 cents... thats not to say it would be my first choice, agin i thimk the results should not be veiwable until you vote... i did'nt vote my favorite it had no chance of winning and that would have made my vote usless.. if we just do a ramdom desion not to use the name it does the same thing
