  • @carabnr I think it's best not to mention that model. There are so many people out to discredit Busby (not me). & there's enough evidence that those high doses are bad
    by UKVal 5/29/2011 10:49:34 PM

  • @es ECRR speaks for low risk radiation, Busby is one of them. The resuch after Chernobyl I guess beck up that. They also found the it caused also heart failiure. But of course, it's hard to prove that your cancer/heart desease came because of an accident in Chernobyl 20 years ago. But no matter what you think of low radiation risk, there is no doubt that many people should be evacuaded in Japan.

  • You could use Toshiso Kosako's comments when he quit as Kan's nuclear advisor. "inconsistent with internationally commonsensical figures and they were determined by the administration to serve its interests" search.japantimes.co.jp
    by Bobby1 5/29/2011 10:50:24 PM

  • i cannot understand people denying the low radiation risks. from a medical point of view (which is my position) there can be no doubt about this.

  • TY gang. I agree Edano, are you in the haelth field?
    by carabnr 5/29/2011 10:54:10 PM

  • @carabnr MD, but not specialized in radiation.
    by Edano 5/29/2011 10:54:42 PM

  • @ You could use the actually amounts in air, food, soil. And point is this is adding all the time- and levels in fish/ seafood is sat out of the thought that it shall be 10% of your total food intake - that's how they find the amount bequerel that they mean you can eat. But in Japan fish is not 10% of their food total - there fore they have had half of what other land has. But now, they have reised the limit to the dobble (2000beq like the rest of the nonfish-eaters) . That is also a point. They have to change their kitchen habits. I guess we all are in some extend. Now I go to bed - good night! You are all so clever. :)
    by Mona 5/29/2011 10:56:12 PM

  • Brilliant @veenie @all you need to copy paste the whole link scrib doesn't link to twitter accs for some reason
    by elainekirk 5/29/2011 11:45:33 PM

  • @Veenie Just got back. That is very cool we had talked about using twitter at some point. I think posting things off the group site is a really good idea. Off the tech/news not so much since we divert into some things that are rather silly or out of context someone could find offensive.
    by Nancy 5/29/2011 11:51:03 PM

  • Right now, I am testing the Setup....Your site is already listed ))
    by Veenie 5/29/2011 11:51:52 PM

  • BTW, we need to start doing a news update a few times a day with links or posting the more relevant news articles as "aside" posts on the blog. Can those be picked up by twitter?
    by Nancy 5/29/2011 11:51:54 PM

  • @Nancy I do not know, been setting up a lot.so right now, i am just adding boards and websites, just tried the FB page Tokyo Radiation Levels's Facebook Wall...still checking
    by Veenie 5/29/2011 11:53:08 PM

  • On Japanese TV this morning a piece on a group of about 2,000 concerned mothers in Chiba prefecture, who are worried about radiation in school playgrounds. They have been taking measurements in a variety of locations, but have been denied permission to measure in school playgrounds (not sure if it was some or all playgrounds). The reason for denying permission? Well, the government says if the readings were high it would start damaging rumours and cause panic. That is the story as it was reported. By the way, I recall something about plutonium in Chiba being mentioned on this board yesterday. Anymore on that?
    by Will 5/29/2011 11:53:19 PM

  • @Veenie cool, impressed you were able to get mine since it is static pages. Can we make all posts have # tags? If so #fukushima and #Japan should be on posts
    by Nancy 5/29/2011 11:53:24 PM

  • @Veenie Just make sure we don't add too many or people will block that user for flooding posts out.
    by Nancy 5/29/2011 11:54:05 PM

  • @Nancy You guys need to put the #hashtags
    by Veenie 5/29/2011 11:54:10 PM

  • @Veenie Congratulations It is a honor be following you. :-) Your fist one :-)))))
    by Majj 5/29/2011 11:54:10 PM

  • Veenie, do you want me to make an icon for that?
    by Nancy 5/29/2011 11:55:35 PM

  • @Majj This isn't for me, i am doing this for the Community...Twitter / FB / Gmail / YouTube all setup....I do assume Nancy and Jeremy already have their names secured, so i took whatever i thought was as close as possible to SimplyInfo
    by Veenie 5/29/2011 11:55:36 PM

  • @Nancy Sure Nancy whatever works.....I just want OUR Twitter Channel to get EXPOSURE, how much longer before you put the Domain up ? I am sure you do not want me to PROFILE Hoaseandfloat on Twitter but Simplyinfo right ?...is there a redirect ?
    by Veenie 5/29/2011 11:57:04 PM

  • @will have you seen this www.houseoffoust.com
    by elainekirk 5/29/2011 11:57:20 PM

  • @Veenie If you ad the words #fukushima and #genpatsu the whole word will follow you
    by Majj 5/29/2011 11:57:23 PM

  • @Veenie we could probably use a group youtube channel. Mona was talking about grabbing the FB page, we need to see if she has done that yet. I was working on gmail incarnations before I got sick so will finish those tonight. We should grab simplyinfo.org and also fukuleaks.org so someone else doesn't grab fukuleaks doesn't mean we need to use it but we do need to own it.
    by Nancy 5/29/2011 11:57:40 PM

  • @Nancy Whaty? you guys didn't BUY simplyinfo.org??.GO DO IT NOW !!
    by Veenie 5/29/2011 11:58:21 PM

  • Everything i done is reliant upon the name
    by Veenie 5/29/2011 11:58:34 PM

  • Should I put the fukushima mother post on the group page so it is there. I just put it on my space to try to snag some of the people that follow that page.
    by Nancy 5/29/2011 11:58:43 PM

  • @Majj Let me see if i can Prefix it with the Hashtags, good idea..
