I want to start working on the political system here, but need my info to be vetted... so that it is not just thrown out ....
    by fitter 6/3/2011 11:50:53 AM

  • @ Fitter go for it.... That's what Steve was saying on Fairwinds when he was on with Arnie about a month ago...
    by carabnr 6/3/2011 11:52:39 AM

  • @Edano also the explosion sounds like it may have released particles of what nature ???? and because of the location to Japan seems that intentionally or unintetionaly would have a bearing on the air ..... can you tell anyway the difference ????? (do we really know what they have... I'm not sure what we have here one mile from my house (it NOT a secert base)
    by fitter 6/3/2011 11:54:11 AM

    by fitter 6/3/2011 11:55:35 AM

  • @fitter Their's was one of the early videos we saw going into the exclusion zone, I suspect.
    by jt 6/3/2011 11:56:06 AM

  • @fitter Good question! It was asked on the other board a few days ago but I dont think it was answered.............
    by Angie 6/3/2011 11:56:46 AM

  • @fitter : when did that happen ? where did it happen ? where do you live ?
    by Edano 6/3/2011 11:57:47 AM

  • @Edano the russian explosion I thought (need to check) just in the last day,,, maybe I am wrong (will look at) they did not have any "major explosion" just the usual "field planning" but they rattle the windows and crack the house foundations (we were getting ready for bin ladan) don't want to put my location on the net??? ******... but bobby1 has had high readings over the last two months on and off, in an area that is a small rural area except the colleges and wepons plant
by fitter edited by Edano 6/3/2011 12:01:54 PM

  • @Edano going to go check the russioan video
    by fitter 6/3/2011 12:02:20 PM

  • in this video they do not say the when and where, and there is nothing in the news, it may be quite old. furthermore, no word that there was nuclear ammonition stored. just conventional explosions.
    by Edano 6/3/2011 12:05:01 PM

  • Around 30,000 evacuated as military depot catches fire rt.com I think it just happened.....
    by Angie 6/3/2011 12:07:10 PM

    by fitter 6/3/2011 12:07:20 PM

  • @Angie thanks angie
    by fitter 6/3/2011 12:07:30 PM

  • @Edano DO not think they would admit it if there was nuke anyway... what do the rockets use ?? do you know? Are there readings that are posted on the internet for moscow?
    by fitter 6/3/2011 12:08:57 PM

  • @fitter : if they had exploding nukes, the world would know within a day.
    by Edano 6/3/2011 12:10:24 PM

  • Did you guys look on the right on the article.......there are other stories there, it seems to have happened alot in Russia.
    by Angie 6/3/2011 12:12:49 PM

  • i never heard about any accidentally exploded nuke. i think they will not explode so easily.
    by Edano 6/3/2011 12:13:03 PM

  • In this afternoon Le Monde an article about the treatment of debris caused by the disaster of March 11. I quote a sentence from the article (only available to subscribers): "Another problem is contamination radioactive waste. The proposed deal with debris in Fukushima Prefecture Kawasaki, south of Tokyo, has raised strong protests from local people concerned about the risks of radiation. Sludge with high levels of radiation have been used to make concrete. The government has, since March 12, guidelines on acceptable levels of contamination, but only as regards the prefecture of Fukushima. Gold levels above 100 000 becquerels per kilogram were found in sewage sludge and in Tokyo in Ibaraki prefecture, south of the Fukushima. "

  • @Edano This depot houses some serious artillery including rocket shells intended for Russia’s “Grad” multiple rocket launching systems and overall 5,000 truckloads of ammunition, a source from the emergency response headquarters told Interfax.
"The total weight of the projectiles is approximately 150,000 tonnes,” he said.
I am not very imformed about all the ammunition... but we have "hardend vehicals and bullets etc. that exposes the troop (from what I undersand) that are not NUKE, but still have radation,
    by fitter 6/3/2011 12:13:29 PM

  • @Angie just seen that on the link you provided.. interesting?
    by fitter 6/3/2011 12:14:06 PM

  • l konw the usa uses uranium in conventional bomb heads to make them heavier. of course this is a mess, but it is still no fission.
by Edano edited by Edano 6/3/2011 12:15:35 PM

  • uranium is also used in airplane wings to increase the weight.
    by Edano 6/3/2011 12:16:19 PM

  • @fitter Very! I have no idea how these places are run but I would assume that having them blow up isnt the way........
    by Angie 6/3/2011 12:16:34 PM

  • @Edano not sure I am phrasing what I need to ask correctly, will do more rechearh and get back....
    by fitter 6/3/2011 12:17:42 PM

  • @Angie yes they definitly need to rethink the procedures they are using? But I guess the positive is they seem to have a lot of experience handling the fires!!!
    by fitter 6/3/2011 12:19:17 PM

  • this is udmurtia, where the explosion happened. upload.wikimedia.org

    by fitter 6/3/2011 12:20:17 PM

  • @fitter lol yes they have!! bye! @Edano........ty for the map! Now I know where it happened!
    by Angie 6/3/2011 12:21:18 PM

  • we should be able to measure anything in europe if anything happened.
    by Edano 6/3/2011 12:21:42 PM

  • fitter seemed a bit confused to me ...
    by Edano 6/3/2011 12:23:02 PM

  • @Edano It is, but thats DU (Depleted Uranium, U-238) safe to handle and to be around, problem arises if the DU is vaporized, or otherwise broken up into dust particles
    by WolfDK 6/3/2011 12:23:25 PM

  • @WolfDK but this seems only a local problem for the udmurtians. and the russians seem to evacuate their people more consequently than japan.
    by Edano 6/3/2011 12:26:06 PM

  • @Edano " we should be able to measure anything in europe if anything happened." It is my understand that Europe as America is not measuring any more , radiation spread...
    by Majj 6/3/2011 12:27:41 PM

  • @Edano Yep, Russia is actually handling those situations nowadays
    by WolfDK 6/3/2011 12:27:59 PM

  • @Majj ah no, they are constantly measuring, at least in europe. that's for sure.
    by Edano 6/3/2011 12:28:42 PM

  • there is a worlwide survey for illegal nuke tests.

    by WolfDK 6/3/2011 12:30:52 PM

  • @Edano Ok , they are measuring , but will they punting out the results? because this is not a TEST
    by Majj 6/3/2011 12:31:02 PM

  • @Majj i can only speak for europe. since chernobyl, we have independent surveys here.
    by Edano 6/3/2011 12:32:26 PM

  • @Edano I am having a "vocabulary difficulty" the nuke part was a joke (should have made that clear) the radiation and what I want to ask I need to get the dictionary out and get the verbage correct... but have to pay bills now... will be back (with my dictionary)
    by fitter 6/3/2011 12:32:30 PM

  • Some 28,000 people have been evacuated from near the Russian city of Izhevsk, where a fire broke out at an arms depot housing artillery shells and rockets. www.bbc.co.uk

  • @Edano Thanks for the info.
