by dean 7/19/2011 3:12:06 AM

then a 4 for who knows
by dean 7/19/2011 3:12:31 AM

Ralph.. I'm trying to figure out who ends up with the worst WASTE...japan sends their fuel to france to have areva make MOX fuel which they burn up and have to store.... or france to gets the fuel from japan and ends up with waste
by dean 7/19/2011 3:15:08 AM

I doubt it Ralph
by dean 7/19/2011 3:16:36 AM

@RadioGuy the flaw is in the RPV wall itself. The shroud replace was part of trying to continue to run the old reactors or possibly putting MOX in them. The new shrouds are sort of like putting shiny new rims on a 1979 Ford Pinto

lol lilly..
by dean 7/19/2011 3:17:19 AM

find out Ralph..
by dean 7/19/2011 3:17:58 AM

@Ralph Unger IIRC they send everything back. I think some of the waste came back in the glass encasement?
by lillymunster 7/19/2011 3:18:17 AM

@ Peter I would love to have heard that sales presentation..
by dean 7/19/2011 3:18:44 AM

@RadioGuy tennis shoe tires with spinners on big 4WD trucks - the definition of fail.
by lillymunster 7/19/2011 3:18:57 AM

good find Ralph..
by dean 7/19/2011 3:20:06 AM

then it goes off to mongolia.. hmmmmm
by dean 7/19/2011 3:20:13 AM

they probably dump it into the ocean and make a profit..
by dean 7/19/2011 3:20:26 AM

@RadioGuy makes me LOL every time I see one.
by lillymunster 7/19/2011 3:21:56 AM

@RadioGuy See I have all this really dangerous stuff so I think I will ship it half way around the world to someone else and then have them ship it all back!
by lillymunster 7/19/2011 3:25:09 AM

times do change.. mongolia in the deal .. gets a reactor.. however.. THEY have the largest uranium deposits it says "Especially since it possesses big uranium prospects, which are estimated as the biggest in the world. If Mongolia could mine and use it, “they could be as rich as middle east countries that have benefited from their oil and natural gas”, says a top official of Japan’s Ministry of Economic, Trade and Industry.
by dean 7/19/2011 3:26:46 AM

if nuclear power continues why not control the largest uranium mine..
by dean 7/19/2011 3:27:16 AM

by dean 7/19/2011 3:27:40 AM

Some of these foreign deals are going south. The one between Japan and Jordan fell apart.
