  • the SE USA does not usually get EQs and has a lot of unreinforced brick buildings, I'd expect to see some real damage reported when they get more info from Richmond and the towns that are close to the EQ

  • Something to watch for.. MSNbc was reporting the LAND lines were inoperatable to the North Anna station.. did not say much else.. but there is NO if very lillte Cell service working... Think there is a lot to be address... )(Cell back for the most part, but still not fully working! So much for the Tech world.... works except when you need it....   • The Virginian seismic website isn't coming in, but this is from Maryland. This is what I felt, I ran out of my house fearing it was going to collapse. In so doing I actually ran for my life, from my house in the middle of an otherwise lovely day. Neighbors were outside who'd done the same : www.mgs.md.gov
