  • India to postpone decision on buying EPR reactors from France : India will postpone its final decision on the purchase of EPR type nuclear reactors from France until after the current post-Fukushima nuclear safety tests have been satisfactorily completed, it is reliably learnt.

Srikumar Banerjee, Chairman of India's Atomic Energy Commission, conveyed this message to French Industry Minister Eric Besson when the two met during the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) consultations which opened in Vienna. Mr. Besson said: “Dr. Banerjee said India imports only reactors which have been certified by their own authorities. The EPR has already been certified. Now they want the post-Fukushima certification.” However, he added that the Indians had conveyed this message “in a very positive manner.” www.thehindu.com

  • @Ian have you seen the magic pills busby is flogging to the families in Japan who are clutching at anything in a desperate hope that their children don't suffer

    by elainekirk 9/19/2011 10:37:01 PM

  • @elainekirk I'm going to print that out and go throw darts at it. :-)
    by lillymunster 9/19/2011 10:48:35 PM

  • @lillymunster I thought I would give him some free promotion so I sent it to the UK Foreign Office and a couple of other legal/political bods
    by elainekirk 9/19/2011 10:55:45 PM

  • @elainekirk :) A person's hard work should not be wasted, after all.
    by RadioGuy 9/19/2011 11:05:21 PM

  • I wonder if Japan has supplement laws related to imports?
    by lillymunster 9/19/2011 11:06:08 PM

  • @RadioGuy certainly not;) Gotta give those who try a push in the right direction
    by elainekirk 9/19/2011 11:06:24 PM

  • @elainekirk, is that a joke?
    by Ian 9/19/2011 11:17:41 PM

  • @Ian no he also offers urine testing at tens of thousand for each cesium, strontium, pu none of this having urine analised oh no Busby does seperate tests each one costing and 5 figure sum
    by elainekirk 9/19/2011 11:22:32 PM

  • He's been a target of a lot of dirty pool. That bottle looks to silly to believe. Other people are behind the domain : whois.domaintools.com
    by Ian 9/19/2011 11:23:56 PM

  • There was another fake Busby website, so this would be par for the course.
    by Ian 9/19/2011 11:27:01 PM

  • @Ian the contact email address on that is busby's foundation.
    by lillymunster 9/19/2011 11:28:57 PM

  • @Ian busby ain't daft if that were fake he would have made it known, when I tweeted that parents were being ripped off the magic pill page disappeared and the rest of the site remained. A fake wouldnt have bothered taking the magic pill page down
    by elainekirk 9/19/2011 11:31:34 PM

  • @lillymunster, googling that London address doesn't get me to his foundation.
    by Ian 9/19/2011 11:32:40 PM

  • @Ian its a mailing addy they are rife here .
    by elainekirk 9/19/2011 11:34:08 PM

  • @elainekirk, unless they realized it looks fake as hell. It looks like a joke. I can't believe he'd create those pills, and if he did, he did he'd not pull it down. How do we know he knows?
    by Ian 9/19/2011 11:34:30 PM

  • Boy, sounds like 50 bucks worth of snake oil to me! I do not like the guy.
I found something in the local press, The Daily Progress reports today: "At Dominion's nuclear plants, a spate of unplanned shutdowns" www2.dailyprogress.com ;)
    by Peter 9/19/2011 11:36:44 PM

  • @Ian we don't know he knows the page disappearing could be totally coincidental
    by elainekirk 9/19/2011 11:36:48 PM

  • Here's the address of his foundation llrc.org It's not the same as the address of busbylab.com whois.domaintools.com
    by Ian 9/19/2011 11:37:59 PM

  • @Peter that plant is sure vulnerable to mother nature ain't it
    by elainekirk 9/19/2011 11:40:49 PM

  • @Peter, how easy it would be to slap someone's face on a bottle of snake oil and get everyone to hate them. We really need to be careful about believing this. That bottle is way too silly.
    by Ian 9/19/2011 11:42:59 PM

  • @Ian the urine tests? the credentials?
    by elainekirk 9/19/2011 11:43:32 PM

  • @elainekirk, text and graphics!
    by Ian 9/19/2011 11:44:01 PM

  • I am reading the second NISA report that Elaine dug up. Chapter II on the early days after the quake/tsunami reads like a script for an Indiana Jones movie. The title could be "Indiana Jones and the Melting Core". The report illustrates pretty openly how things were out of and beyond control in short time. Of course, there is blame dished out on the other guy.
    by Peter 9/19/2011 11:44:22 PM

  • @Peter pretty scary stuff tumbling out of the archives
    by elainekirk 9/19/2011 11:45:07 PM

  • it doesn't appear to be faked. Will post what I found in a min. need to finish something
    by lillymunster 9/19/2011 11:49:23 PM

  • The bottle is a horrible photoshop job, doesn't mean Busby's web designer or whomever is helping him didn't mock it up. Busby's known web domains.
EURADCOM.ORG http://www.networksolutions.com/whois-search/euradcom.org Is managed by someone else and located in Brussells and tries to claim it is part of the EU parliment in the address.

His other known website. Low Dose Radiation Campaign
    LLRC,ORG
    www.networksolutions.com
This is located in Powys GB and lists the owner as "Domain Admin"

The Busby Labs one is using a London address for an office building of small businesses. Google the address and other building residents come up. The liklihood of an ad-hoc lab being in such a building is pretty good.
The admin is in the UK and the tech contact in Germany. I don't see anything out of the ordinary compared to his other known domains
    whois.domaintools.com

The foundation domain is listed as an ADMIN in Tokyo, that would be likely for a NGO set up in Japan having to have a location in country. The tech contact is the same as Busbylab.com - the same tech contact in Germany and both sites have a similar template.
    CBFCF.ORG
    www.networksolutions.com

There is no continuity to any of them and the new two seem to have the same disorganized pattern of hastily tossed together project web sites. If someone was going to set up a smear campaign for Busby they certainly wouldn't put legit contact information like the technical contact and leave their domain record open to the public. You can pay a fee to hide your domain information. I am not seeing a faked website. I am seeing a poorly done website in the same ham handed fashion as his others.
    by lillymunster 9/19/2011 11:52:51 PM

  • @elainekirk, do you have the link for the removed supplement page? There might be still be a google-cache file.
    by Ian 9/19/2011 11:55:00 PM

  • (Now They Tell Us Series) Groundwater Coming into Reactor Bldg and Turbine Bldg Basements at #Fukushima I Nuke Plant

TEPCO finally admits, after confronted with the calculation by Tokyo Shinbun. To no surprise to anyone but TEPCO, the Japanese government, and probably the majority of the Japanese people, the basement walls and floors are likely to have cracked and been damaged during the earthquake.

If this is true, it's good in one sense. Instead of the highly contaminated water in the basements leaking into the groundwater, the groundwater is coming into the basements... ex-skf.blogspot.com
    by Majj 9/19/2011 11:56:42 PM

  • @lillymunster, the point is the label doesn't exist. If you were selling these supplements, you'd at least have printed then labels. Instead, the all the front-label text is flat, ie, not curving with the bottle. So there is no Busby supplement bottle, there's only a photoshoped 2D graphic.
    by Ian 9/19/2011 11:57:24 PM

  • Someone took a real supplement bottle and photoshopped Busby's photo on it. That prima facie evidence of a hoax, not a business plan.
    by Ian 9/20/2011 12:00:04 AM

  • I mean they took a real photo of a bottle and slapped his photo on that photo.
    by Ian 9/20/2011 12:01:52 AM

  • @Ian Really? You have no idea how many companies sell something before they have the first batch in. Like software companies selling software programs they haven't even written yet.
    by lillymunster 9/20/2011 12:04:15 AM

  • Please read the info on the various domain names in my post below. It posted before I was done writing.
    by lillymunster 9/20/2011 12:04:55 AM

  • @Ian I saved a copy of the supplement page. Can post a screen shot or upload the page to my server if needed.
    by lillymunster 9/20/2011 12:05:57 AM

  • @Edano the bottom of the one on the crane looks shredded. Are the ones near the camera offset or are they messed up also?
