Dang - US Senate websites are all down. Have a too much traffic message

OMG the science advisor for the Frontline episode works for KEPCO (korean nuclear)
neinuclearnotes.blogspot.comweb.mit.eduby lillymunster 1/18/2012 5:06:40 PM

@Pedro Jesus it is a huge financial endowment. There is some rather obvious room for bias. I miss Wikipedia too. 3 times today needed to grab a fact.
by lillymunster 1/18/2012 5:38:28 PM

LOL - now NEI and some other pro-nuclear PR groups are calling the frontline show biased and inaccurate
by lillymunster 1/18/2012 5:40:34 PM

today we had two similar quakes in fukushima inland. intensity 3, magnitude around 4-4.5.

looks like exactly the same place.
by Edano 1/18/2012 5:53:19 PM

a bigger quake at this place could be fatal.
by Edano 1/18/2012 5:54:40 PM

@Edano do we have an idea exactly where that is vs the plant?
by lillymunster 1/18/2012 6:00:51 PM

watching the frontline documentary. The rep from Entergy's body language is classic "lying" body language even though what he is saying was pretty generic.
by lillymunster 1/18/2012 6:02:09 PM

@lillymunster it's in iwaki in the mountains, near national route 41 ("iwaki highway") and a railroad, near Mt. Kittoya. about 20 km west of the plants. i don't know if Mt. Kittoya is a volcano.

shallow again. One of the other shallow ones was about 9km
by lillymunster 1/18/2012 6:11:23 PM

hmm, seems an active area.
by Edano 1/18/2012 6:11:50 PM

first question out of the gate is someone trying to pimp thorium!
by lillymunster 1/18/2012 6:12:22 PM

strange. not a single piece of information about Mt Kittoya but lots of earthquakes around.
by Edano 1/18/2012 6:16:23 PM

They have a poll on the PBS chat that is being swarmed by nuke pr guys.
www.pbs.orgby lillymunster 1/18/2012 6:17:45 PM

I submitted 2 basic questions and neither went through. They said there were 200 people in the chat. They are heavily picking what they want to answer
