"The 618-11 Burial Ground is adjacent to the parking lot of Energy Northwest's Columbia Generating Station, the commercial nuclear power plant on leased Hanford land north of Richland."

Hope the burial grounds are not as unstable as some of the tanks.

  • @lilly.. the Hanford site has such a long long history and the cleanup, dismantling etc has been going on forever. we could spend a whole period just on Hanford

  • some more info about San Onofre "Worn Pipes Shut California Reactors" online.wsj.com So far, NRC inspectors have checked 80% of the 9,727 tubes in one steam generator and found damage to 871 pipes, Mr. Dricks said. Two pipes had lost 35% of their wall thickness in just two years of service. Most—about 800—had lost 10% to 20% of wall thickness. The pipes are about three-quarters of an inch in diameter.

    by lillymunster 2/4/2012 3:05:49 PM

  • Happy Tweets - these follow tweets posted days before in the fukushimadiary link talking about unit 4's leaking pipes

But I still can not identify the location of the other like a water leak in Unit 4 (^ O ^) Yappa ~Tsu now. So I do not have clearly grasp the cause was when the water level of the Sukimasaji but until now has dropped. I did not go down or down ... or unstable. Will not leak from?

Perhaps there is a place that contains the cracks in the pipe under the influence of salinity seawater was placed first aftershock and until now: a continued. If you do not look for a place may not be found, including leaking in the PCV, but I think from the first pedestal, Or did the study ... again.

Now I'm coming out full of tank water leak still continues after water treatment and pollution does not properly measure 2: Continued. What 's not mistake stance to support anti-leakage when in the first place. From the way it should be done is fundamentally any number of measures can not be helped first because I took an emergency.

I think I would do a collection tank that initially not in time for the manufacture of the tank tank specification, should have been to design and fabricate properly from the middle: three followed. Joint of 2m height position'm welded structures should be at least from the bottom tank.

If you feel so far away will expect you to check bolt tank located on the campus of the total number from now ...: 4 more. Difficult because it contained contaminated water even during welding to it ... from now. I can not keep contaminated water is a long period of time that I was muttering 's tank before.

I think I'm the dose after, 2000mSv / h of the line β is field work is in the presentation I'm not surprised because I knew from before, it is true, and some more because the upper limit of the measuring instrument 5: Continued. I'm afraid I do not know what we have or how much dose it there.

Followed by six lines: β is the workers I've been working under the mask or goggles entirely, or to protect the eyes from the top of the mask wearing dark side because there is impact to the skin and eyes. S now much more anti-ahead was when leakage anyway.

7 continued: I have to say white TEPCO to report teaching degree or NISA also leak, the scene I'm have not been solved fundamentally only are exchanging each other ... but the paper of the sentence. I think that was laughed at by people ... who sandbag gain increases and tightening measures even after a time leak forever.
