I havent seen the line @fitter,, they also had a design change to add a way to vent the main building which was outside of containment... lol. AT your comments... I'm not going to say what they say about REACTOR OPERATORS... I did have a fitter who worked for me on my shift.. and he would come over and fix a problem and stop in and say... it's all fixed.. I would say.. ty BRAD.. then he'd say.... no problem.. just remember YOUR S*** is my bread and butter... he he

@ Nancy - sorry I've only just read your post below. I agree I think there's a complex story re MOX to uncover here. Also The Berkeley lab vid posted on the other blog -the scientists were saying that the roof of #3 landed on #4. They've been consulted by the GoJ over this mess so I think they know

@xxx Excellent stuff! I've just finished concluding that the reactors are indeed offset in the containment buildings of R2/3/4. I'll be adding new images to the wiki site soon!

@elainekirk can you make sure nancy see this, it has referenc to casket drop system (wouldn't want to drop them)... but laydowns area's for the caps and plugs etc...

@NHK Listener don't you think that area looks a little to clean for a building that was on fire and had an explosion????? I know they have been dumping a lot of water on it, but I have my doubts

I was asking where that steam along the left top edge is coming from.... Photoshop the building but the steam is harder...

@fitter I wouldn't call that clean... There's debris everywhere in the overhead shots, and daylight hitting the crane, plus you can see through the back of the reactor building w/ rebar sticking every which way...

@radioguy That hydrogen-gas explosion in Unit 4 on the 15th March was not reported at the time. This info has been added to the TEPCO statements more recently, not sure exactly when.

And there never was any video of the explosion of R4. I think it happened during the hours before dawn of the 15th.

@marie rich Yes I've seen those. But that's not what the press releases said at the time. I guess if they'd mentioned the explosions at the time we'd have dissected them here too. As far as I recall they didn't, they only mentioned a couple of fires.

@elainekirk the plan drawing,,,,, even if its not daichi... its valuable... and by enlarging it and comparing it to the stuff we know she may be either able to validate it or a min. give good reference to how a layout would be in general... i can't read the type, but i know enough out drawings that it has some resemble to fushi and will give a better questamate than what we have now...

@marie rich I'm not saying there was no explosion there ever, just that they didn't tell us at the time, and the content in some of those press notices has changed.

@marie rich i never seen any anoucment that there was an explosion either, some of the post at a diffferent site were discussing it
