@Peter Melzer @Lethbridgean the gauge they show has a id tag... it should ref the piece of ewuipment that it is rigestering ... i looked at Nancy impumus drawing, but don't see any corresponding equipmt number or series.... also the invert of the reactor is shown on that drawing if anyone is interested in the elevation of the invert of reactor itself

@Pedro Jesus spent fuel is a major issue. The racks at these old mark 1 units in the US are even more jammed with old rods. Many near major population centers.

@Nancy I went backt o the assement report that was done in march and on reactor one GE does not think (at that time) that the central core was getting any water.... but the report is reather confusing and seems to contradict itself.... and i would think that would have been a major priority to address and they may have.... i just have not hear anymore... we need a new assesment report

@mexico_lurker - you were right with the 250 tons, and the F***ed. 1 ton is 2000Lbs and one tonne is 1000kg, since there is 2.2lbs per kg who gives a crap if we are worrying about 2% accuracy variable.

@Nancy : i was asking how they get the fuel in and out the building. do they put the cask in the pool ? do they use an elevator in the building ?

@Nancy you are correct about the "equipment in the second pool I don't remember were i read it but thats why (i quess) they call it the dryer pool... the steam dryer and seperator are stored there when they are out of the reactor becauese they are hot... along with anything eles that would be hot , I guess... will try and remember were i saw that,,,

I have the numbers: Before we found out belatedly about the unirradiated assemblies in the pools, the total was 10,149 assemblies. as 170Kg/assembly.

@Edano no EQs over 4.0 (USGS doesn't list quakes below that threshold outside of the US). I'm sure there have been plenty of small ones.

But frankly, we have enough to worry about without worrying about terrorist attacks right now. My motto these days has been "Yes, but what is the OTHER hand doing?" No terrorist anywhere could possibly have done as badly to us as TEPCO has done in plain sight.

That #2 S/C B CAMS reading is really weird. CAMS showed 104 Sv/hr at 6 am on 26 April, huge drop to 43 at 6 am on 27 April. What happened?
