@bo the two reporters I have spoken with over the weekend, one didn't want to comment on it and seemed to have gone off to figure out what I was talking about. The other one that came back with all the info can't get the GoJ to make a statement. There are still missing pieces at least what is going on at #1, it seems out of line with what they claimed would transpire at 1. A structural engineer would be able to give a good idea. I could try running it by my brother (civil engineer) but would likely take just as long to catch up with him.

I think just compare the images over time and if the angle is increasing--that's proof.

@Bo, thanks, like our Monsoon storms here in Arizona ! The Teppy cam has got to be a old image taken when it was sun and shining there. It doesn't reflect the storm that is going on.

@Nancy I'm sure they would like to talk to anyone whenever they can. The people I know there have kept paying attention, at least more than most, to the crisis. They know that no other news source seems to have noticed the lean. So they want to do something and are mulling over what to do. Let me know if your brother would like to talk to them eventually, on or off air.

@Jim Yes. I have an image from a couple of days ago, overnight during smoke-fest and one in daylight. There was a noticeable change in angles. The land side wall seems to be falling in more and the angle of the walls are more skewed in height vs. sinking.

@Nancy I have forwarded them some images as well and have gotten them to pay attention to the tippycam, so they know something is up.

@bo let me know in about 12 hours if they are still needing to talk to someone. He is a bit hard to get on a Sunday and I would need to read him in since he hasn't been following the issue. If they are still having issues getting someone in Russia I can see if he is interested if I can catch him.

@Jim camera angles are roughly the same. The camera seems to move a bit but comparing to a vertical line things have changed.

They also zoom in and out on the tippycam, makes it harder to keep your bearings vs. the tepco cam. Sounds like the wind is picking up I hear something on the tippycam

Living here in Japan it is disconcerting (to say the least) about having all the kosa particulates in the air during these rad releases.

@Nancy mostly the particulates. Everyone has to clean their cars, everything has a layer of dust on it. The winds can be strong or weak.
