@Pedro Jesus Retrofit is way more difficult than building to use alt. energy. We are going through all of this right now. We want to put solar shingles on our huge garage roof. The cost of the shingles isn't horrible but all the other logistics since we can't just tie into the grid makes it more costly to run dual systems.

@Pedro Jesus Where I live in the US is very conservative and always about 5 years late on any trend. We have seen more builders start doing green building standards, better efficiency and some alt energy like heat pumps that work with traditional utilities. I will consider it a big move when one puts in solar or wind of some sort on a new house as more than a show house.

The ground water issue had me wondering, if this stuff is entering the water table below the plant, does that water source flow away from the area? IE: underground rivers, connected areas of the water table etc? I don't know enough about geology and how water tables operate to know how much of a possibility it is.

My error. First data I'm seeing from Josef Stolfi's data mining is from the 13th of March -- there's one line for the 11th, but all values 99999.
