Hard to tell in this small image. If you make tippycam full screen you can see it faintly. Maybe part of the dock in the water to the back?
by bo 5/14/2011 9:27:56 AM

@hudebnik good morning.
by bo 5/14/2011 9:29:28 AM

@bo it is like a smokey haze when i jiggle my contrast
@hudebnik good morning we can guarantee tepcos legal advisors will be the biggest winners in all this, they havent made a move that hasnt got the stench of 'coverourbacks' to it
by elainekirk 5/14/2011 9:33:40 AM

@hudebnik I don't really know, but I don't think it finds an outlet in the mainstream press. But come to think of it that is true in the US too these days.
by bo 5/14/2011 9:35:05 AM

We can hope. The Asahi is the more lefty national shimbun
by bo 5/14/2011 9:38:19 AM

@hudebnik it is only ten yrs since they lost their licence due to cover ups, the people allowed them to resume operations , in every year since then they have been found to have deceived in some respect ....it is almost as though people feel tepco own them, do they not realise that if tepco fall other companies will take over telephone, electric, news etc services and those other companies will provide employment
by elainekirk 5/14/2011 9:39:21 AM

@hudebnik I wonder what effect these temp fluctuation have on the integrity of the containment (remaining) and reactor itself?

Kyodo: Man in his 60s who died had begun working at the plant yesterday.
by bo 5/14/2011 10:00:29 AM

Japan Times says the worker began work at 6 am this morning and was unconscious by 7 am. This would have been his second day of work at the plant.

Good morning @Edano
by bo 5/14/2011 10:26:11 AM

I saw your namesake on tv yesterday in the Diet and he had a suit on rather than the trademark blue worksuit. Almost didn't recognize him.
