I am curious if there is some informed projection out there of the prospective
scenario that is predicted or modeled to occur in the event that all of the
fuelled Fukushima Daiichi reactors suffer the same core meltdown fate as
Reactor One.

Are we aware of guidance or actual reference materials related to this?
I can't believe nobody is doing some look-ahead contingency planning now
that the apparent real score of Reactor 1 core status has been TEPCO-
acknowledged.

Somebody has to have a Plan A, Plan B, Plan C, etc based on assumptions
that the expected rad release would be like this or like that... Thanks.

TEPCO confirms water in No.1 reactor
The operator of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant says the amount of highly radioactive water in the basement of the Number one reactor is increasing. Alblee, many many accident analyses are performed on on reactors for every imaginable accident including the station blackout....analysts always have assumptions in the beginning of their analysis but to model actually and precisely what happened at fukushima would have been impossible...so, only assumptions and theories are available and of course.. real time data... as we have seen .. the accident is so unpredictable that plans like filling #1 with water was thought over after they thought fuel was melted through the vessel

I've been thinking that TEPCO says one thing about water level not staying the same in #1 plant to they say there is leak in building.. when in fact it's from the concrete containment into the outer areas with in the general building

@all.. if you've seen the control rooms for those plants they are extensive and spread out.. just imagine the annunciator windows all lighting up at one moment.. I tell you from experience it's absolute chaos in a commercial plant.. trying to figure out which emergency procedure to use for what annunciator.. and... after the tsunami.. the annunciators all going black.. in the first hour it would have been almost impossible to assess what was happening.. and,,, it's like.. what built in safety features and interlocks to safety equipment were doing and then decide if you should intervene and over ride anything based on what your instruments are tellling you ..

I trained my operators some laws.. NEVER uncover the core,,, and,,, never bring the reactor power up too fast and be prepared for overshoots, on pressurized systems always know how close you are from voiding... and then I trained them over and over until they could do it blindfolded..

I have no idea what the training is like in japan,, some facilities say .. go by the book,, and follow every procedure step... then, if they get into a problem where they can't do the next step.. then stop.. many places do that but the operators follow the procedures and loose their in depth knowledge of the system .. you have to know that inside and out to react

The operator of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant announced that radioactive materials continue to leak into the ocean near the plant.

The Tokyo Electric Power Company said 140 becquerels of cesium-134 per cubic centimeter, was measured on Saturday morning near the water intake of the plant's Number 3 reactor. That represents 2,300 times the legal limit. www3.nhk.or.jp

I am done with the Japanese Goverment allowing this to continue........enough....either they put a stop to this and get other people involved or they have to take responsibility for the impact this has and not only their territory.!!

@dean OH! It is probably the same crane that was further to the right but about the same up and down location within the view frame. I saw it yesterday only further right and thought I was losing it. We think there is a road there due to a line in the trees from left to right. We were guessing they are sampling ground water or doing something off the road.
