@reed oh thats clever so fuku is sort of like a floating island?
Reed how does that relate to the deep well on the plans I just posted? is the water running of the fuku shelf and draining to the groundwater through that well?

@nancy i am assuming that is the well and also that it could be the way radiation is in the groundwater @reed that is quite scary

TEPCO told reporters that the barrier set up in the sea near the water intake of the No.3 reactor may be failing to prevent contaminated water from spreading.
The utility said it will use the mineral zeolite to remove radioactive cesium from the sea.
