  • @Rob in SF Radioactive plumes do not disperse according to inverse cube laws. Thin plumes can survive the ocean crossing pretty much intact.

  • waving hi to every one.. back for a bit
    by dean 5/24/2011 12:45:11 AM

  • @Bobby1 I've heard so many differing opinions on the dispersion data I don't know what to think. These are largely heavy molecules, FWIW, which I don't know...
by Rob in SF 5/24/2011 12:45:44 AM

  • @dean TEPCO came clean...or did they? Waffles, this week half price!

    by Angie 5/24/2011 12:46:55 AM

  • @Edano, didn't we notice that in many instances the come up with a jack ass solution, just to buy time. The coffer dam is one example. They hope that half live and dilution will take care of the radiation problems.
by Peter Melzer 5/24/2011 12:47:00 AM

    by dean 5/24/2011 12:47:42 AM

  • I think maybe we do need to write up a list and send it to TEPCO via any willing reporters. If nothing else it might give a few some ammo to ask them questions at press conferences.
    by Nancy 5/24/2011 12:48:21 AM

  • @dean I thought this was really good, too: " In his article for The New York Times with the title "In Case of Emergency: What Not to Do" dated Aug. 21, 2010, Peter S. Goodman quotes the communications strategist Eric Dezenhall observing wisely: "A corporation in crisis is not a corporation. It is a collection of panicked individuals motivated by self-preservation.”
    by radioguy 5/24/2011 12:49:04 AM

  • @elainekirk TBS JNN should live stream it.
by ms in la 5/24/2011 12:49:10 AM

    by Nancy 5/24/2011 12:49:32 AM

  • I figured with the CEO resigning, that he would now not have to take any responsibility of make any decisions, he is now able to dump all his company stock to day (not an insider trader anymore) and sneak all his money and family out of the country to somewhere safe !!
    by wtm 5/24/2011 12:49:34 AM

  • so true,,, radioguy crisis management
