  • @all This video interested me, because it appears to show people/volunteers suiting up to step into a less than "ideal" environment at Fukushima #1 ( The flag at the end with the initials NIRS - Nuclear Information and Resource Service) I don't speak Japanese (or read it for that matter), interesting visuals...

  • @smoss: I watched the two video you have posted here and since I understand the Japanese wanted to let you know that, in the one where a large group of people are putting on the white protective suits, they are annoucing a 30 year study to include 150,000 citizens from the Fukushima prefecture that have been exposed to low doses of radiation that will monitor changes in their health. The second video is not about the man that died, rather it is a paractice session for parametics dealing with radiation sickness.

  • @dh Was the coverage of sea bed contamination posted correctly?
    by smoss 5/28/2011 5:22:17 AM

  • Contaminated water, "spill it in the rain" - rain will further increase the water level of contaminated water trapped in the building of nuclear power, there is a sea and ground water flows, TEPCO has closely monitored
    【汚染水“雨で流出のおそれ”】今後の雨で、原発の建屋にたまった汚染水の水位がさらに上昇し、海や地下水に流れ出すおそれがあるとして、東京電力は注意深く監視しています。 nhk.jp
