    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 1:44:12 PM

  • whoops sorry, kept getting an error try again message.
    by cat 7/10/2011 1:44:51 PM

  • @lillymunster. 11th of May
    by cat 7/10/2011 1:45:35 PM

  • @lillymunster. I saved quite a few screen shots that day because there was lots of smoke from #s 3 and 4
    by cat 7/10/2011 1:51:17 PM

  • Ah, do you have any that are close up on 4?
    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 1:52:25 PM

  • Doing some overlay work with Mona's pic. The good news, It looks like the larger parts of #4 are the same, the side walls, lean angle, height. It looks like the dark cross piece that is possibly the overhead crane is at a new angle. This could mean that the large overhead crane has just shifted off the track. So far the side walls it is tied to haven't shifted enough to be seen on TBS cam. I will have a mark up drawing done in a few and will do another in about 12 hrs when we get good close up views again.
    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 1:55:35 PM

  • I'm a bit confused. Are you talking about the 7.1 aftershock in Japan this morning?
by Pedro Jesus 7/10/2011 1:56:49 PM

  • @Pedro Jesus yes
    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 1:59:51 PM

  • by cat via I51.tinypic 7/10/2011 2:03:07 PM

  • @lillymunster Could you name the sources that state that #4 suffered severe damage from this aftershock? I've been through NHK, Reuters and Portuguese news agencies and they all report no damage found and no victims from this aftershock.
by Pedro Jesus 7/10/2011 2:03:08 PM

  • Overlay of today w/ a May image.

    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 2:03:43 PM

  • @Pedro Jesus Where did you see something say 4 suffered severe damage?
    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 2:04:10 PM

  • On the image there is a black line and red line on the crane. The image is small making it hard to see. Red line is today, black line is May. It is about a 1 pixel difference on the crane angle. The remaining black lines show that the building itself hasn't moved significantly due to the quake. There could be small changes that don't show on the small far away image.
    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 2:06:56 PM

  • When I came here a while ago and went through this thread I remember someone mentioning the façade of #4 having crumbled down. I can't find it now but a few comments have been edited since. Then I went to check the news in different news agencies and got a bit confused. Never mind, I might have interpreted something wrong.
by Pedro Jesus 7/10/2011 2:08:08 PM

  • @Pedro Jesus So far TEPCO reports say nothing damaged at the plant. The crane is the only big visible change right now.

  • Tehachapi CA - geiger readings back up in the 30's steady. Background is 6. High peaks in march were up into the 40's and 50's. This has been a constant mid-high level for weeks now. Something is coming over the pacific.
    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 2:32:51 PM

  • @Mona you are safe now I have signed out of mod

by Elaine Kirk 7/10/2011 2:35:10 PM

  • @ The link is to a folder, maybe I have to link each pic? Well try again. docs.google.com
    by Mona 7/10/2011 2:36:18 PM

  • @lillymunster There was a spike in Japanese geiger readings on July 7, it should be arriving in CA starting around now.
    by Bobby1 7/10/2011 2:37:06 PM

  • Hopper says they are at the moment assuming the water to be free but points out what the men have said all along they find it difficult to drink water with the masks
by Elaine Kirk 7/10/2011 2:38:08 PM

  • @Elaine, the image links are working with the new link. If they are charging them for water that should not be allowed to go on. The cooling places were supposed to allow for safe eating and drinking. If people don't get a break though they then can't drink. They had 6 out with heat stroke Sat. So the changes are not helping much. Let me know if you get more info from rockhopper. We have confirmation from multiple workers on having to pay for food. I think enough to write something up and share it out. I have to go to a family thing in about an hour. Maybe in about 6 hrs, see what additional info we have then write something up and start pushing it. I will email it to a couple of reporter contacts too.
    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 2:44:33 PM

  • @lillymunster good idea I will start harvesting

  • the US and South Korea, Russia, China, India and Japan are going for Rokasha ..
    www.siteselection.com
So maybe this is why IAEA etc are letting them pour radiation everywhere - they need Japan onside as the site of their super duper EXPERIMENTAL reactor
And can we assume that Tepco Construction' that was formed recently will be involved?
by Elaine Kirk edited by elainekirk 7/10/2011 3:02:50 PM

  • @Elaine Kirk The article is a few years old. I hope what happened at Fukushima will have killed off the project. We can't handle keeping a BWR safe, we have no business building that thing!

Hirose's awesome! RT @ shigex_yokohama: Mar attack information. Takashi Hirose, Noboru Mr. J. Akashi, plans to file a criminal complaint with professional negligence. Press conference soon. Non accuser, TEPCO president, 斑目, Shunichi Yamashita, and many others will
    by elainekirk 7/10/2011 3:20:34 PM

  • @lillymunster it actually is in a tweet and I pulled that article up to explain it I didnt check the articles date but as they are building a reprocessing unit a Rokkasha I think maybe we should consider it eeek
    by elainekirk 7/10/2011 3:22:00 PM

  • @elainekirk hmm. Don't know who the ones filing the charges are, this sounds interesting if criminal charges are starting....
Do you know Rokkasho's status? It had delays and problems. That super power plant is the last thing Japan needs. If they are going to build that thing they need to do is somewhere in the middle of nowhere like Sibera.
    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 3:25:27 PM

  • "Russia is positioning itself to become the Home Depot of the global civilian nuclear industry, offering everything from construction to decommissioning. It would seem in Moscow that every cloud, even those laden with cesium-137, has a silver lining, or at least one lined with euros." Article by John Daly: www.globalresearch.ca
    by Diane_NJ 7/10/2011 3:45:13 PM

  • @lillymunster : when you look at teppycam ( in daylight ), it seems to me that the western part of the roof of #4 has crashed. the western wall and the roof seem to be disconnected. but i could be wrong, of course. not to be seen on tbs, only on teppycam.
