  • Hi Dean! Had a nice brunch with family from out of town.

@Elaine, can you email me the overlay images? I get such a small version via the web interface makes it hard to see detail.

  • @lillymunster okies
    by elainekirk 7/10/2011 6:39:15 PM

  • So it sounds like people are finding more oddities? What side was Edano referring to on 4? He said west wall and I am all turned around. Land side, sea side?

  • #Radiation in Japan: 70,800 Becquerels/kg Cesium from Burning Household Waste at Kashiwa City, Chiba Kashiwa City in Chiba Prefecture disclosed on July 10 that the radioactive cesium exceeding 70,000 becquerels/kg has been detected from the burned ashes at the city's waste processing plant. It is considered to be the result of the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant accident, and the city has halted burying the ashes since the end of June. At the current rate, the city will run out of space to store the ashes, and it won't be able to accept the household trash ex-skf.blogspot.com

  • TEPCO cam does not seem to be working.
    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 6:44:04 PM

  • not sure on which lilly.. I've been gone and just came back for bit before my training ride..
    by dean 7/10/2011 6:47:23 PM

  • @dean hoping on some good zoom in images on TBS this evening/ Japan morning so I can get some updated good images. The ones I get early evening my time tend to have really good lighting due to the sun angle and they do zoom ins about then. I have plenty of old images to compare to. I did notice the crane (the big one) is now at an angle. I am guessing the track it was on deteriorated or the wall on one side shifted.
    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 6:51:54 PM

  • will be good to investigate all that lilly... I need to head out to train and will return later
    by dean 7/10/2011 6:58:35 PM

  • Edano said it was easier to see the wall he meant on teppy cam he said it wasnt visible on tbs but actually he is talking I think the back wall from tbs angle.
I also get much bigger lean on tbs (right hand) wall
    by elainekirk 7/10/2011 7:01:27 PM

  • @elainekirk I am seeing what could be more leaning on TBS also, will be much easier to determine with good sunlight. Will do the same with TEPCO cam when light comes up. I can see 4 right now but the dark makes it hard to pinpoint things.

Did you hear anymore about the workers food issues before everyone there went to bed?
    by lillymunster 7/10/2011 7:09:16 PM

  • Just to add to the discussion about radiation hitting the Pacific coast. I woke up today in L.A. with the worst attack of what everyone keeps telling me is "Hay fever" -which I've never had in my life until after Mar 15 when I first got it. Now it comes and goes with about 1 week or so intervals between. But today was mighty strong. Think I may have a built in live geiger in my nose! Or just allergic to plutonium.
by ms in la 7/10/2011 7:18:37 PM

  • @lillymunster no I had to go out been a bit hectic and my head is pounding I dunno whether it is the virus going round/ fumes from floor wax/ strain on the lone ranger brain cell residing in there but it is making concentration dificult.
    by elainekirk 7/10/2011 7:21:39 PM

  • @ms in la could be whats causing the 'headache ' virius up here
    by elainekirk 7/10/2011 7:22:09 PM

  • @ms in la Wow. Your not the only person who has described unusual allergies this summer/spring that don't manifest as normal.

I had the strangest off and on rounds of asthma but without allergy symptoms since March...

He assumed water to be free; I will try to find out. Another thing is that it's very hard for them to drink water with the mask. @ElaineKirk

I was shocked because I thought that TEPCO provides food and water (at least) all the time after 3.11. @ElaineKirk
    6 hours ago

Yes, the worker wrote that he's been buying food everyday & it'll be for everyone. No more free food. He isnt sure about water
