  • Could you modify your link from me for the Tepco Cam and JNN/TBS to read as follows, all of my links seem to get erased. lucaswhitefieldhixson.com
by Ralph Unger 7/22/2011 10:28:08 AM

  • @Ralph Unger the link you have up works fine
    by elainekirk 7/22/2011 10:29:45 AM

  • @Ralph Unger plus the link you have up is to a Japanese site surely it is better to promote them than a profit making site from outside Japan purely personal opinion
    by elainekirk 7/22/2011 10:31:13 AM

  • No, the TBS link is not up to date as TEPCO wants it that way.
by Ralph Unger 7/22/2011 10:31:17 AM

  • I agree with you about the source but I still think the link is OK.
by Ralph Unger 7/22/2011 10:32:18 AM

  • The Jnn link is bad from my earlier post.
by Ralph Unger 7/22/2011 10:33:22 AM

  • @Ralph Unger I see what you mean about the tbs now but does any support group have both? maybe somebody else should handle this I am heavily influenced by personal opinion here wrong I know but thats how I am I believe if you take you should put back
    by elainekirk 7/22/2011 10:33:41 AM

  • @you my predudice comes from photo's freely available on flickr not being promoted as such on their site but instead emblazoned with their logo on their site without the source being made abundantly clear
    by elainekirk 7/22/2011 10:35:37 AM

  • The link I supplied is considered by some here to be a nuc support site. So?.. Should we not hear both sides and decide for ourselves?
by Ralph Unger 7/22/2011 10:36:01 AM

  • I always check out this site which is completely a pro-nuke site. That does not mean I trust all that they say. www.hiroshimasyndrome.com
by Ralph Unger 7/22/2011 10:38:29 AM

  • @Ralph, the pup is an Akita. Just over a year old, adult dog body, puppy brain. :-)

by Ralph Unger 7/22/2011 10:48:46 AM

  • What is that smell I get from Obama? It reminds me of my days working with cows and bulls. Mostly the work with bulls.
by Ralph Unger 7/22/2011 10:54:10 AM

  • Here is the working TBS link www.youtube.com
    by lillymunster 7/22/2011 10:56:38 AM

  • @Ralph Unger He's getting better, but almost 100# of puppy is interesting.
    by lillymunster 7/22/2011 10:57:17 AM

  • I wonder if he will get re-elected? Lets look at who has the most "freedom of speech" by the new definition,Hmmmm .. Goldman Sachs? Why would our president take money from someone who they gave billions on dollars to? www.opensecrets.org

  • #1 reactor, venting failed mdn.mainichi.jp
    by lillymunster 7/22/2011 11:01:56 AM

  • All venting failed because the venting was not hardened as GE required, or the GE requirements were not enough. 9 Mag earthquake? Who could see it coming? Only all the geologists.

  • Ancient stone markers warned of tsunamis " MIYAKO, Japan - Modern sea walls failed to protect coastal towns from Japan's destructive tsunami last month. But in the hamlet of Aneyoshi, a single centuries-old tablet saved the day." www.cbsnews.com
by Ralph Unger 7/22/2011 11:07:55 AM

  • This site keeps focusing on the news, this is not news, this is history.
by Ralph Unger 7/22/2011 11:10:42 AM

  • @Ralph Unger Not totally sure if they had hardened vents or not, I think the general assumption is no. The US doesn't have them at all plants either. Now they are considering actually making them mandatory everywhere. The NRC let plants get out of adding them if they had a good enough excuse. Like it would cost too much money or they didn't feel like it.
    by lillymunster 7/22/2011 11:10:48 AM

  • Reliable sources tell me that they were hardened vents.
by Ralph Unger 7/22/2011 11:11:35 AM

  • Gimme a min to find the source.

  • The staff believes that the available information provides strong incentive
for installation of a hardened vent.
by Ralph Unger 7/22/2011 11:17:12 AM

  • Anyone know what this is? paper.li

    n ???????
    by Majj 7/22/2011 11:24:05 AM

  • @Majj It appears to be some sort of news feed newspaper. The link came from the group twitter account and seems to be "our" page? Was wondering who set it up and what we can do with it to tweak it?
    by lillymunster 7/22/2011 11:26:02 AM

  • @lillymunster I thought it was YOU. is more than 2 weeks on line. I was surprise beacuse there are many subgects there
    by Majj 7/22/2011 11:27:19 AM

  • I do nor re twitter it because it cover various subjects that I'm interested...
    by Majj 7/22/2011 11:33:24 AM

  • @lillymunster It enables people to publish newspapers based on topics they like and treat their readers to fresh news, daily. paper.li
    by Majj 7/22/2011 11:34:47 AM

  • @Majj @lillymunster it is a site we found that we thought would be a good promotion but it is needing more tweaking than we imagined Veenie is the man to talk to , what it does is harvest tweets from everyone you follow which is the trouble, you follow some for information purposes who you wouldnt wish to promote Veenie did put a disclaier on
    by elainekirk 7/22/2011 11:35:31 AM

  • goto fly tell veenie he can stop them by revoking access in the twitter account
    by elainekirk 7/22/2011 11:39:48 AM

  • @elainekirk Got it . Is a greet Idea but sections like the "tragic" one , make it looks "sheap" and Vulgar....
    by Majj 7/22/2011 11:41:28 AM

  • Parents issues with school that fed Fukushima beef because it was cheap. Parents called names etc. nuclearhistory.wordpress.com
    by lillymunster 7/22/2011 11:42:31 AM

  • @elainekirk we should block the twitter posts until we sort out the page content.
    by lillymunster 7/22/2011 11:43:02 AM

  • @lillymunster I think a little time play around the settings and It cam become a very nice news page
    by Majj 7/22/2011 11:45:21 AM

  • @Majj think it needs some tweaking as you said. If we can get the content more focused it would be good.
