    by elainekirk 8/7/2011 10:23:11 AM

  • hewas a thug and drug dealer and fired first. People are complaining that police didnt move in when they trashed wood green but if they thought about it they left them to trash an area with more cctv cameras then you can imagine if they had moved in it would have pushed rioters into residential area
    by elainekirk 8/7/2011 10:23:42 AM

  • Just think each of those rioters has 2 parents if the parents had gone down there they could have outnumbered them

    by bo 8/7/2011 10:31:58 AM

  • @Bo yes mindless if children grew up in communities learning naturally how to take responsibility and care they wouldnt then turn round and wreck that community , instead children are placed in nursery/school whilst the parents have to work to feed the bankers and fund governments eccentricities children never get chance to learn naturally how to care for those younger and learn from those older because they are age segregated and told what they must learn, it is unnatural

Decontamination system stops at Fukushima Daiichi

The operator of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant is facing yet another problem with its wastewater filtering system. The system came to a halt again on Sunday.

Tokyo Electric Power Company has been filtering highly contaminated water in basements to remove radioactive material and then pump the water back into the reactors as coolant.

Shortly after 7 AM on Sunday, some of the pumps in a US decontamination device stopped and could not be restarted. The equipment is used to remove radioactive cesium.

About an hour later, a pump in a French device also stopped working.

A back-up pump also failed to work, bringing the whole decontamination system to a halt. TEPCO says it is continuing to inject cooling water into reactors by using treated water.

The decontamination system has faced earlier problems. On Thursday, another pump stopped at one time. On Friday, an alarm went off and the system stopped operating.

TEPCO added a Japanese-made decontamination device to the system to make it more stable. But the utility wanted to treat wastewater before the test run of the new device, because there is little available storage space for the contaminated water.

TEPCO is trying to determine the cause of the malfunctions while working to restart the system.

The Fukushima worker's tweet on the underground cable damage: "I am not sure if we can hammer the wall into the deep ground to bedrock... (cont) "There have been so many modifications in & around R1-4. Nothing on the old drawings is there currently, I know it. Even in bldgs... (cont) "we aren't surprised when cables & other stuff are located 100mm away from the place which is supposed be, according to drawings. (cont) "So, locating cables and plumbings underground will be really difficult."

yes, that's another tragedy of the Fukushima. All the nuke companies including TEPCO have been doing business in ACed room (cont) calculators. They don't care how much mess they make for workers on site with all the mismatches and translation difficulties. (cont) The workers have been working on the mess and somehow resolved problems by a slim margin. Now many of the experts including him (cont) got exposed to radiation which is close to the limit. Who can do the work after all the current professionals are gone?

"We apologize in advance for any inconvenience which may be caused by temporary distribution failures of images due to switching of power supply between 9:00 pm on August 7 (Sun) and 1:00 am on August 8 (Mon)."
