  • @Peter they cleaned the sidewalk and it didn't really do much. They were considering ripping out the plants and wall. They said it might have been rainwater collection but really were not sure. I'm not familiar with the hot spot patterns in Belarus. Sounds like something worth exploring. Could be the next likely problem to tackle.

  • Looking at Edano's pictures. The one shows the fence the plants are on. It is old wood that is dried out. That gets really porous. I would bet they got a hot spot and the fence absorbed lots of the water rather than having it run off.
