Sent an email to the epa asking about the quarterly tests and clarification on who collects the air samples.
This report makes it sound like the air samples portion of quarterly reporting comes from the stationary monitoring stations, so it would likely be collected by EDI and mailed in.

@M.I.A. GRIN - What did you do to get the original graphs. I have a pretty good idea what stations when down so I can selectively hunt.
by lillymunster 11/4/2011 6:47:49 PM

@M.I.A. Thanks - I can pull URLs for reference - will probably make screen shots when I have more time in case they decide to take those down.

The contact email for Radnet is permanently failing. EPA-FAIL
by lillymunster 11/4/2011 6:58:56 PM

@M.I.A. what started much of this inquiry was that Richmond washington's beta was down and EPA said they didn't intend to fix it.

@elainekirk have those been trending as ND or really low? I hadn't looked at them in a few weeks because they had stayed lowish. I am guessing these are the outflow of units 1 and 2 - why no unit 3 though? Is there a previous report like that one to compare to?
by lillymunster 11/4/2011 9:40:29 PM

2. Evaluation
Detected density of Sr-90 is the higher level than that of the measured fallouts in Japan in the
cases of previous nuclear tests in the atmosphere, which indicates this is considered to be
caused by the nuclear accident of this time
