  • The Noda administration finalizing a bill on nuclear safety reforms.

An earlier draft said that extension (40 -> 60 years) "must be endorsed" if the safety standards are met. ... the text was revised to "may be endorsed" to make room for intervention by the environment minister.

  • @Peter Maybe they were only trying to offset production costs. Germany was going through a major crisis at the time. That's what prompted Hitler to power and the unfolding of WWII in the first place.

  • Greetings, just stopping in for a minute. #lilly, the bechtal article did not pop up on the article link (upper left of home page). So i missed it. Is it ready to go out? ... i had dinner w/ Mr. Bechtal many many years ago at a fund raiser. Had I known then, what i know now. I would have looked differently at the man who liked limericks. Missed opportunity - that one!

by Mid Valley 1/25/2012 11:09:56 PM

  • @Mid Valley I see #energy used sometimes, #eco is good for anything quasi related to energy, contamination etc. it seems to get lots of traffic. I have not looked to see if there are other energy tags yet. Let me see if I can remember the tag page.

    by lillymunster 1/25/2012 11:14:01 PM

  • @lilly, thanks for the hash tag list and I know I can use the #climatezombies I just ran across a good article about southern hemisphere oceans and climate change yesterday. I will did that one up later tonight.
