cryptome.org In this photo released April 12, 2011 by Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO), workers lower a panel that is used to cover the sluice gate to stop drainage from Unit 2 reactor at the tsunami-crippled Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant in Okumamachi, Fukushima Prefecture, northeastern Japan.

www.marshield.com What happened with the shielding they had on order? This is interesting... "Borotron ® Borated PE has been used as a medical and industrial shielding material to attenuate and absorb neutron radiation." www.marshield.com

@jo, will take a look at them. Was wondering if they were your mark ups or from somewhere else. The reactor well is round opening and closer to the mid-line, not the wall. This image gives a good idea. There is a rectangular well near the edge that has been mistaken as the reactor well by a couple of people & places. There are images of a section of the round reactor well on both 4 and 3 that match this image. Will go take a look at the shiny object your pointing to and see what it might be. www.houseoffoust.com
