    by dean 4/20/2011 9:50:25 PM

  • that tweet is concerning. things collapsing don't sound like explosions. @Dean - um too late 3/4 gone. I really should eat slower
    by Nancy 4/20/2011 9:51:29 PM

  • @guys I'm even archiving my sushi wrappers (nori:)

    by Tenzing 4/20/2011 9:52:29 PM

  • @dean try tellin that to somebody with no teeth:)
by Jim Carver 4/20/2011 9:52:55 PM

    by Nancy 4/20/2011 9:54:49 PM

    by dean 4/20/2011 9:55:37 PM

    by dean 4/20/2011 9:57:04 PM

  • be safe Tenzing
    by dean 4/20/2011 9:57:25 PM

  • @Nancy Japan is best, but yeah there are other places. Importfodd.com is where I usually get them and so good Thai essentials. I had bought 4 packages. So, I'm ok for now.
by Jim Carver 4/20/2011 9:57:44 PM

  • food
by Jim Carver 4/20/2011 9:58:01 PM

  • @Jim Carver I assumed nori sat on shelves or in warehouses a long time so US/CA supplies ought to be good if you buy it up and know it has an old manufacture date. Does nori ever go bad?
    by Nancy 4/20/2011 9:58:49 PM

  • @dean no I think the convo died
    by elainekirk 4/20/2011 9:59:00 PM

  • ok elaine.. I contend the fuel was uncovered partially/totally/intermittent between /uncovered
    by dean 4/20/2011 10:00:30 PM

  • Since Jim is here... We have a plan for archiving documents on Jim's server space. I have a pretty good stockpile of images. There was talk earlier we need to archive videos off YouTube before they can be taken down. Happens frequently on YouTube. Just not sure what would be the sane way to archive or have people gather them.
    by Nancy 4/20/2011 10:01:32 PM

  • well RyuichiHirokawa twitter.com!/RyuichiHirokawa and he has nearly 15000 fllowers only follows ten and this is his link www.daysjapan.net but as it is mostly in japanese ...I did a google translate but it only showed me there was no clues there
    by elainekirk 4/20/2011 10:02:15 PM

  • @Nancy I keep it sealed in the refrig for a few months and it is fine. ImportFood.com gets them very fresh because they have contacts in Asia. They are nice people. At the first of the disaster , we chipped in and bought food to ship to Japan. They've got some really good recipes on their site also.
by Jim Carver 4/20/2011 10:02:15 PM

  • I put him in my Twitter follows. Probably worth checking his ongoing posts even if I have to put them through a translator. Twitter needs a translate tool built in.
    by Nancy 4/20/2011 10:04:46 PM

  • @Jim Carver I bought a huge bag of bonito the week before the quake to make noodle broth. I have a lifetime supply :-)
    by Nancy 4/20/2011 10:05:24 PM

  • @Nancy Cool. I Love that stuff. About the archives, plent o room. But organization is key..so we need maybe only 2 or 3 admins.
by Jim Carver 4/20/2011 10:07:01 PM

  • @Nancy oh wow .. i forgot bonito.
    by radioguy 4/20/2011 10:07:14 PM

  • They cannot theoretically get near daichi and is daini in the zone? but there is onagawa which had problems after the 7.4 and there is a lot of damage around there it is quite possible the road has colllapsed
    by elainekirk 4/20/2011 10:07:34 PM

  • scribble scribble
    by radioguy 4/20/2011 10:08:01 PM

by Jim Carver 4/20/2011 10:08:18 PM

  • yup but surely someone with his following wouldnt be posting alarmist carp......would he?
    by elainekirk 4/20/2011 10:09:23 PM

  • @elainekirk adds highly to the probability of it being right. I have not been following the reactor stats. How do I get into them and is there a way to see what could be out of whack at that time?
    by Nancy 4/20/2011 10:11:05 PM

  • @deann I think you have it covered there
    by elainekirk 4/20/2011 10:11:15 PM

  • @nancy at the top of the pinned there is a 13;00
    by elainekirk 4/20/2011 10:12:03 PM

  • @elainekirk The workers are camping out at daini - they are sleeping there and seem to be using it as their fall back point to work from. Reporters got up to the gate about a week ago from the video?
    by Nancy 4/20/2011 10:12:40 PM

  • There's alot of stuff up there.
by Jim Carver 4/20/2011 10:12:49 PM

  • @elainekirk THanks. Gotta run. Will go through the english version when I get back and see if I find anything.
    by Nancy 4/20/2011 10:13:27 PM

  • @Jim Mark is excelent when it comes to data gathering isn't he? I wonder what he works as
    by elainekirk 4/20/2011 10:15:08 PM

  • @Nancy If you just want to make a folder 'images' and 'video', just put em inthere.
by Jim Carver 4/20/2011 10:15:10 PM

  • @elainekirk He's pretty bright.
