  • Jim, at the facility where I worked there were two systems... the main purification system was a cation and anion bed and then a filterable solids screen prior to returning to system... then for the waste system the pass the water through about the same kinda of system.. anion and cation... then off to either hot or cold waste

  • Looks like our long-running ghost in the machine has a new friend. Apparently it's a Cherenkov party. I almost seems that knowing the white temperature of the camera we could get a rough spectrogram of it and check the color.

  • @radioguy how would one figure that out? The light spot always has a much fainter signature than the known work light on the docks. It does seem to be more of a blue light while the work light at the dock is very yellow/white by comparison

  • @radioguy there was a long reflection down on the dock light. I think this might be new up by the reactors. We did have 2 dots next to each other on a few nights. The oblong thing is interesting.

  • @Nancy I checked Alex Higgins numbers on the Pu238 with EPA RadNet for San Francisco and they match. I know AH is far from MSM but I have followed his blog for quite a while now and I have no reason to doubt the validity of the info provided. I agree its always wise to confirm facts.
