When I say exhaustive, I mean to the level of including not only pointer to the PDFs, not relying on links, the Japanese text of those original TEPCO press releases are cut and pasted in.

@Majjham Zazen They have three ways to do it. The easier of the three is probably zip or tar the files and use the online uploader. Otherwise use an ftp client.

Y'all know I'm a computer idiot, so I don't know if this is good advice. But I think it might have got lost in the chatter so I'll repost. Perhaps you should consider a dropbox archive - set up across a handful of trusted individuals for write access, everyone else read. Syncronized copies would physically reside in potentially unlimited numbers of locations (perhaps use a removable storage medium vs. putting it on your system drive).

@marie rich Yes I saw that and didn't comment because the idea was out there. I use Dropbox all the time. With Dropbox sharing you can co share stuff just by putting it into a folder on your machine.
Drawbacks are that if you let it update all the time,and people are adding and deleting a lot, or just adding, you download everything to your machine. This can hog your connection. Great for documents of ordinary size.
@marie rich I have a drop box, but 2 G isn't much and they're more expensive and less secure for larger storage than egnyte. (And also not as easy to use)

I D/Ded that database as an openoffice spreadsheet and it can be sliced and diced, sorted by ST, CITY, DATE for instance.

@Jim Carver I use Dropbox for one thing really, to keep the non-sensitive documents I'm working on available on all of my machines. It's great for that. I use it to transfer the occasional MP3s too, loading them into my home dropbox as I walk out the door, and they're available at the station when i walk in the door.

@Bobby1 plutonium in air samples sounds significant. I could understand some in the soil in CA with some of the WWII munitions activities there but in the air? We were told plutonium was too heavy to get into the air and travel. Something isn't right.....

Judging by google maps, the 5.5 EQ from about 90 mins ago was centered 6 miles from Daini, which is another 6 miles from Daichi. It was also almost a direct hit on another large industrial-looking coastal facility (not Daini). Does anyone know what that is? Is it another power plant? It's located at 37°14'2.96"N, 141° 0'51.32"E

@Bobby1 so much for the claim that the plutonium won't leave the plant area. If there was plutonium MOX rods involved in #3 explosion (they have to be stored in SFP) that may explain this.

@Nancy That would be a factor, but even the regular rods have plutonium. The percentage would be higher in the MOX rods.

@Bobby 1 hey I just wanted to say something before i go to bed, it was a thought I had a while ago, I don't know how right I am though but it would give us a better picture? If some how we could find what actual compounds were found where, not just isotopes but there actual chemical form, I think it would go along way to explaining where they are from and how, but I may be wrong in that! @Nancy "Claim"....enough said! Pu will travel given the right conditions, to put it simply everything can travel two ways, explosive force moving it's solid state particles(dosen't go far unless it's huge) or it can be turned to a gasseous state or thereabouts and move that way.(As usual from my learning anyone correct me if I am wrong!)
