one point.. there is probably a total of 3.5 mega watts of power coming off the sum total of fuel elements in the canal.. so plenty of heat to have considerable heat wave action in the pool... and from the history data on SFP temps.. one can see.. if you have a pan of water and heat it up to that temp they are reporting and see what happens in the bot

Jim.. I told the crew to put a nice big pan on the stove and heat it up to about 180 degrees and see what kinda heat thermals are coming off the bottom of the pan and if there are bubbles forming
