You know @all, If one reads thse boards, it feels as though , this is actual happenings, since there is ZERO coverage in the news whatsoever, if one comes here they must bbe thinking..are all these people insane ??

@Jim I wonder if they're actually just talking about running the air purification system until May 8, when workers are supposed to go inside. They are trying to discharge, from the building, the air with high radiation content.

Of course, it's also quite possible that they would like to vent #1, knock its pressure down. I've been commenting for some time that I wonder how much pressure they really want to build in the RPV, given the beating it has taken. The TEPCO press release claimed it was due to opening the air lock at #1 on Sunday. I'm sticking with my doom and gloom prediction that #4 sinks into the swamp Sunday.

@Nancy, if temps and radioactivity keep going up in #3, it might beat it to it !!
