@bo, storm atKadena as I write this, if my impression of that track is correct, or Okinawa. Current forecast is to swing just southeast of Tohoku, with periphery just missing the coast by perhaps 50 to 100 kms or so, but that's forecast by computer modeling. There's such a wide swath of sea to travel for the storm so it could go any which way the meteorology dictates. @fitter, I have the data box translation from the reactor schematic. The title in the box says "No. 1 Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant."by bo 5/11/2011 1:00:43 PM- The two kanji figures next to the english say, Title. Underneath the date and time it says "year, month, date" and next to that it says "ordinal." At the bottom it says TEPCO. So not a lot of data in the box.by bo 5/11/2011 1:01:52 PM
- @Alblee true true. And the weather has been very odd here, already getting very humid and hot, which could give the storm system some energy as it moves north. These storms do vary quite a lot as they come through, so we can't be certain for a day or two, as you say.by bo 5/11/2011 1:03:11 PM

#3 RPV temps still rising, despite 9 cubic meters/hr water injection. RPV is at 219/153C as of 23:00 on 10 May, vs. 193/151C at 6:00. - I also did go on the air at RT and said that I was believed that the situation was likely to deteriorate after about one week, and that did get a lot of airplay, so maybe they are paying attention to RT. - @bo if you see thee odd glimpse of any tepco 'office' are note the screens that abound there is more evidence of internet monitoring than there is plant monitoring oops I forget they cant monitor plant as the multimillion yen security system including multiple cams the 'foreign' company installed a few months ago tepco staff were still being trained in it's use and of course there is no way they could have virtual lessons oh no.
