- Edano, it looks like there's something yellow there, but you need to freeze frame at 6:34. Either it's fragmented (in which case I presume its not the lid) or there's dark debris on it that makes it look fragmented. But now I have to be doubtful if it's the lid. - @Ian : we should ask nancy to make some stills amnd close ups at about 6:34. if it is yellow, it is likely to be the lid, and it could indeed be destroyed. some theories describe the vertical explosion as coming from the containment through the lid, lifting or destroying it. the lightbulb can act as a cannon, if it is full of pressure.by Edano 5/11/2011 1:34:19 AM

There is another partial yellow object seen from the seaside view under the rubble by the reactor well. Don't know if that is part of containment or not yet. If that one was half, the other yellow thing today could potentially be the other half? There were some other yellow shards around 3.
