@RBeaner There are also other factors one can use to figure out if data is believable or not. If something doesn't match up and there is no valid argument for the validity of said data such as a new known factor etc. time to toss it out.

@Pedro Jesus The main frustration I have is withholding data when I know they have it. Most of the odd data out of TEPCO seems to have been bad readings due to damage.

I think one aspect above all others that tepco depend on is that assumptions/rumours/guesswork will abound that suits them they can then discredit the messenger and keep the majority thinking that anybody talking of nuclear risks is a nutcase.
